Expressing one's self by meming just really isn't any fun anymore. It's an oversaturated market and toxic at this point, but our brains have been rewired to think in this strange new way. When meming was a sort of 'novel art', they made you stop and pause. They were uncanny, and powerful. They were capable of transmitting deep and important truths at several levels simultaneously. Meming in 2023 vs. 2010 really couldn't be any more different of an act or art, and I'll have to say that I think the human race is now ready to find a more novel and authentic means of communicating humor and truth at this point. So why don't we just go back to improv comedy?
