Starfield Review

Bro got subconsciouslly triggered by the amount of diverse npcs and decided he hated the game 😢

I'm too busy harvesting element zero to have interest . Mass effect got it just right.

As someone who is a massive fan of games like The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Dishonored, Prey, The Outer Worlds, Mass Effect, BioShock, Deus Ex, Cyberpunk 2077, Atomic Heart, etc., Starfield is painfully bland, soulless, and boring.

Giving Starfield a 7 is CRIMINAL this game is easily 10/10

This game was made for those who will play it for years, those who don’t need maps and couldn’t care less about the load screens when your spending hours just in a single location. The content is deep, and NG+ is literally a whole new game in it self.

Not giving you a map.. REPLAYABILITY!!! How else are you gonna rack up a 200 hour playthrough without spending 150 of those hours just LOOKING for vendors???

Either Tears of the Kingdom or the Resi 4 REmake is already GOTY, but this deserves well above a 7.

Uninstalled after 10Hrs absolutely boring game

This game is so empty, with such random difficulty spikes even boosted down to very easy. This game is a let down.

Thought I’d check back with this review to see if people were still upset at the review. After playing the game myself I’m surprised they gave it a 7 and not a 1-6. This game is sadly underwhelming.

Did anyone else come back to this review after actually playing the game and think how the hell is this a 7/10?? It's definitely an 8 or 9.

No offence but Starfield isn't just a buggy game but a really bad game. A literal embodiment of "half baked' in 2023 release and could've had its chance it it released directly after vanilla release of Skyrim. Nothing in this game screams 2023 in regard of gameplay, progression, pacing, sound, storyline, mocap, cgi, animation and artstyle, graphics and physics and this accumulated list goes on about lacking the "SOUL' of a video game. If this was released 20 years ago, it had a chance to pass or one or two awards or even nominations. But now ? SO very dated, absolutely doesn't feel innovative and next gen. If people positively shilling about it by saying "ITS JUSTA BETHSDA GAME", then they should know Bethesda released great games before and even if they had more bugs and glitches and all the above mentioned starfield issues, those were acceptation to an extent in regard of that time and age and the tech the devs had to make the game. Starfield is far away to be a feature complete game but an empty platform of possibilities with hollow promises from the holier-than-thou devs of it., heavily focused on modding communities, and don't forget it being stupidly rig intensive beside being a giant nearly 150 gigs of slop. My advice as a multiple decades old gamer- save your money, unless you're feeling charitable, pity or sympathy, even love. Cheers !

Trust Bethesda to still fk up a game they have been working on for “years” according to Pete Hines 🙄 still bugs, frame rate issues, gameplay issues, NO MINI MAP! What the hell are Bethesda doing!? Cutting too many corners losing what dwindling rep they have left.

Genuine question. Why did Bethesda spend so much resources on this when they could have spent it on making elder scrolls 6. I still don't understand why they'd do that. It would've been more popular and made more money for sure.

Very interesting

Everyone was dumping on this review before actually playing the game. Now it's one of the few reviews that actually comes close to the real mark of 5/10. A 6/10 when optimized and modders fix all the bugs. Honestly feels like a downgrade from Fallout 4, a game from 8 years ago. Atleast that had some charm to it's world, story and characters. Starfield's main plot is one of the laziest I've ever seen.

This review... aged very well! 2 weeks after the hype has died down... damn... this game...

"7/10 IGN" - LOL AKA, "Look at me! Look at me!" It's a potentially huge and deep game, with huge variety, definitely a 10/10, if not for everyone, like people who just want quick arcade thrills. The game's not for this clown.
Also, it's not particularly slow, if you want to speedrun it you could probably do it very fast, or you could loot and explore, or create ships or bases, and take forever.

Ive sunk 30 hours into this game and still have not found the fun. Exploration is so booring. It´s more about doing simple missions like "go kill that" or "go talk to that person"
At least the story is decent. But don´t play this if want an open world experience is my recomendation.
Althou if you spending time in menues and loading screens this is a great game.
