The Flood of Gore on Twitter Is Worse Than You Think...

It’s happening again lol

I seriously don't understand why someone would want to hurt innocent creatures like dogs, cats, ect ect. I own a puppy that's around 14 weeks old and I've seen people who would hurt her if they could, it's genuinely so disgusting people would want to hurt animals and watch animals get hurt.

Yesterday i opened twitter to follow an account of a developer, only to be met with shock imagery(deadly fights with knives, people losing bodyparts, etc.). The gore on twitter is actually insane.

Yeah, when I tried warning my kid about this years ago they started telling me about several famous gore videos that they'd already seen, mostly in places most people wouldn't even think to worry about. It's so frustrating cause I firmly believe in giving kids space to learn and grow on their own and not being a helicopter parent but I also know that some people are very badly negatively impacted by seeing this stuff.

I'm very against the death penalty but tbh child abusers and animal sadists might be my only caveat.

This internet society is making me physically sick these days. I’m so sick of the insanity and moral decay. I stand firm the internet is to this day the worst invention to ever exist.

So here’s the thang. Kids that are now turning 10-15 are the first generation where they have had either one or both parents on their phones and social media and that alone is a whole level of neglect that has not t been seen or hadn’t been addressed yet. But it’s absolutely fucked and we’re fucked. Second most kids are given phones with no regard to internet access…. I was a mod on r/watchpeopledie and I was seeing soooo many kids on there and had to ban mostly angry children and the shit they said/posted was nuts.

I think people who torture and murder animals should be considered serial killers. the fact that this in most places is thrown around like its nothing, is disgusting. I personally don't like when people say that people who kill animals, are soon to be serial killers. Because humans are animals too. We all have feelings, mental states, and can be hurt just as bad from these horrifying actions. People often don't say that it's wrong to murder anything to anybody if not for necessary reasons only. Because this information is just thrown around carelessly and not warned about. Nobody cares until something actually happens. not many people care until a human is hurt. and most times, that's not even the case. I hate how it's treated like it's not wrong to kill living, breathing, feeling, beings that just want a chance at life. It's scary how humanity spirals quickly into this hole we call insanity. It's almost something you'd see on a serious short film. I hate every second of it, and i hope to see the day that we'll stop this madness. People often say we weren't smart back then. and I've come to notice that we're not any better now. Make a change. Whether it's almost unnoticeable, or completely different. let it be a good one.

A few years ago when the It remake came out there was an influx of Pennywise roleplay accounts. One in particular would DM people pics of child murder. Then there was the rando account that had CP as their header. Disgustingly with supporters. Took the community a full day to get these accounts banned.

The same messages that you got my dad in may of 2021 I still can’t forget about this it traumatized me for like weeks,it was a man who said that he was from a cartel and that he was gonna send hitmens to my house if my dad did not give him money and if he weren’t gonna give him money then he would go to our address because he knew where we lived and if he didn’t find us in our house he would go for other family members of mine and he sended gore pictures and videos to my dad and this was on WhatsApp and the guy at first he said why are you taking to my wife and my dad told me that he said that and that he just said hi to this random woman that just appeared in his WhatsApp and so the man was demanding money to my dad and we even had to get the police involved and police said that this was a scam and I said how would this be a scam if they had our address and family members name listed and so my dad got these messages that day and we had to get the police involved and the police officer recommended us to stay somewhere for the night In case if something happened and so the next day we went back to the house and we stayed there because my mom said we should stay there and then nothing ever happened and I was scared and always checked the windows from my room since my room is infront of the house I always checked if something was off and if there was creepy looking people outside and i did this for weeks.

One time I was scrolling through my fyp and a literal capcut template with Ronnie Mcnut’s suicide UNCENSORED I reported it but it apparently it didn’t violate the community guidelines and that was basically all they posted too

at the end of the day this type of stuff needs to be addressed and im glad you're doing that

If anyone calls me a crybaby for not wanting to see those videos I'm immediately assuming they get off on children and pets

honestly I'm more upset anyone posts anything getting murdered, like humans, I accidentally witnessed multiple accounts sending gore videos of beheadings, shootings, stabbings and far worst.
I don't think gore videos should be allowed on this site, especially because of how easy it is to access.

This is why people shouldn’t give away puppies and kittens to strangers on the internet without at least vetting them as much as possible. Preferably if you’re going to rehome esp a vulnerable animal like a pitbull or a black cat/kitten please bring them to a no-kill shelter if you can.

It's a bit off-topic, but I've seen several people with such a disturbing interest in gore and everything related to abuse in any form. I met them in some online games and chatted with them for a while before starting to get very disgusted and furious when they were describing the gore movies that they had watched or sent some gore pictures to me with the fact that I didn’t want to see them in any way. And the most disturbing and sickening thing for me has always been their permanent fascination with gore and a clear lack of empathy, considering the fact that these people were just teenagers. I don't think they're just edgy/trolls, maybe they think that their enjoyment in watching violent things makes them cooler or something like that. But the truth is, in my opinion, that it's extremely unhealthy and at least you can say that they’re definitely NOT all right in some mental health terms. I have no idea who they will become after many years, but it makes me kind of terrified, disgusted and numb inside. I quickly stopped talking to them at all due to this abnormality.

Everytime I see news revolving around social media scandals (specially twitter and tiktok shit) makes me think more and more that it really exists something as too much freedom.

Also, I'm honestly baffled that there isn't much more serious police activity involving those two social media pages. I think they need to create some sort of big police department regarding social media crimes as soon as possible, because right now it looks like they STILL think is some sort of child's game when in actuality they're transforming into the legal deep web.
