With another night of freezing temperatures forecasted, I headed back out to the skinny creek that I had solo hunted a few days prior to see if the birds were back in the riffles. There were even more mallards, gadwall, and wigeon feeding hard in the skinny water than when I had originally scouted it so I got permission for Owen, Ryan, and I to head out there the next morning in the hope of bagging some mixed bag limits. The morning got off to a hectic start with birds landing all over the creek but once we got some light on the decoys we started to get some flocks over the spread. Hope you enjoy!
