ОтветитьRan across this video and I want that parka big time but the link to Amazon just goes to down filled underlayer jackets. Anyone know what parka type this is?
ОтветитьWhere in the states do you camp?
I enjoy your video s
Blah blah BRAND NAME blah blah blah BRAND NAME BRAND NAME BRAND NAME blah BRAND NAME BRAND NAME blah blah blah.. You may have once been genuine, but you sold out son..Oh yeah and one more thing blah blah BRAND NAME BRAND NAME BRAND NAME. *shakes head
ОтветитьMRE tip... heaters are not reliable. Sit bag in your water pot on the fire. Preopen US MRE bag pull everything out, rearrange just like you would your pack, fold down tight and tape shut.. space saver. Paper is TP, also go to start fire.
ОтветитьLuke did you do a video on the pack your using here? Does it have a top lid? Any side pockets?
ОтветитьI bet your wife was glad when you rolled back up into the yard, home, safe and sound.
ОтветитьI am fairly new to your channel and ended up watching both versions of this video (on both channels). I really do enjoy your videos but have decided for me it just isn't as enjoyable without your chattering along. So thanks for still having this channel because I enjoy listening to your opinions of your surroundings and equipment :) :)
Ответитьyou ever had any sightings of bigfoot?
ОтветитьWell my last name is BASHAW so I love anything like that. I love this episode of TOGR.!
ОтветитьExcellent!!!!!!! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
ОтветитьYes, I stayed the whole video and saw your comments. I'm sorry that u didn't sleep very long and thank goodness for strong coffee lol
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThis is kind of camping I like to see, it reminds me of the days when my dad and I would go hunting & fishing in the winter.
Good job, Luke.
Another great video Luke! Thank you!
ОтветитьAwesome and convincing your experiments were awesome. Thank you i have a smaller Jakaari backpack.
ОтветитьI deeply appreciate what you do for us . If you would of been a Ranger you could take luxury into the wilderness. But “ perhaps “ what’s the point?😅
ОтветитьAlways a lovely vibe to your vids sir, love the natural set up 👌👌👌
ОтветитьI know this is 2 years old but what tent spikes are you using?
Ответитьmean while in august 2023: y'all remember winter? that was nice... :(
ОтветитьThat's not a bad looking tent. Looks a lot like stone glaciers/slingfin, who I do believe make stuff for military. Probably not as expensive! It's interesting watching this video.. all the hunting companies (sitka, kuiu, eberlestock, etc) definitely used military gear as their blueprints and just improved upon it a bit. Most of what the mil uses is just American companies like outdoor research, north face so if you can pick that stuff up at surplus price it's a super deal. And yes, if camping out here in CO you better bring your own firewood. Just finished the vid, you got a real good front that night hahaha but kept your spirits up. Good man.
ОтветитьWas in the US Army for four years, spent a lot of time in the field and ate MRE's quite a bit.
Honestly? I never heated one up; most I ever used a heater for was to blow up 2 liter bottles.
However I always had a book, and am a curious person; the lack of "hot" food never bothers me (as long as I have food, that is).
Been really loving your videos, homie!
Keep it up!
I live in North Carolina too and it's nice to see the snow. Don't seem to see as much snow here as we used to
ОтветитьNot worth watching. Unnecessary romp in bad weather. He laughs at nothing.
Ответить"I dont do product placement"....does B roll of Oakley sunglasses........
ОтветитьI had a pair of gloves like that back in the day for snowboarding they were called trigger mits. By far and away the best gloves I ever owned
ОтветитьI don't know if you get alerted to comments from older videos, but I have been curious about this in many of your videos and you actually mentioned it near the end of this one. When you come in, you have your pack densely packed with a large amount of gear, much of it in its own individual stuff sacks...tarps, tents, food, cooking gear, etc. It must be very difficult to repack all the gear, to get everything compactly pushed into their individual sacks and then get it all back into the pack. Not as easy as packing at home. This must be particularly true when it's raining or snowing/cold...gear is wet or has snow all over it. Your videos usually end with your saying it's time to pack up and get out, so we don't get to see the process and get advice/tips, as opposed to the detailed discussion on various evolutions up to that point. At some point, could you do a video that details this presumably onerous process. thanks
ОтветитьWhat is your Name, I wear hearing aids and with them I only have 16 % hearing. You have said your name a few times but I can,t catch it because you have never said it loud enough for me to catch it.please can you spell it out slowly enough for me to get it. My name is Bart, that with a B and not an F!!!
ОтветитьI don't know if I would ever buy a tent without a built-in floor unless it had a wood stove
ОтветитьI live in buffalo NY and never dress like that hahahaha. Good video though
ОтветитьIf you know someone in the Military, you could get them to get you gear, while doing both the Army and Boy Scouts, I needed good camping gear and the Supply Sargent helped me purchase used equipment at a cost savings.
You wouldn't believe all the C-rations and MRE's the troops threw away. I got a bunch for my Scout for hiking and camping.
Another great camp‼️ I really enjoy all of your videos
ОтветитьAlways Heat up the equiptment before breaking down. Beautiful Scenery. Be Safe Leaving Area😊
ОтветитьHi Luke, thank you for all the videos you really out yourself out there to show us all how it is when camping in the snow, absolutely beautiful. I do have to say Luke time stamp at 49.20 just as you unzipped your tent l spotted what looks like a black bear or a Bigfoot sitting like a bear on all 4s,l have inlarged it and I'm on my phone and it looks like a bear, but it's just sitting there rite behind your tent leaning into some trees like he is trying to get out of rhe wind and snow.Dose anyone else see it? When we are looking at the tent it is on the left hand side but back a little bit.Deb from Aus xx Hello to Susie
Ответить$250.00 for the carthenia defense 4 on E bay, as of now
ОтветитьThat MRE would have been perfect if it had cheese instead of peanut butter.
ОтветитьWhy do you can set your cam far away from your from your tent
ОтветитьWild ty luke
ОтветитьI like you videos 👍👍
ОтветитьSteve calls that an accessory packet
Ответитьdont die mman
ОтветитьOh it's you didn't recognise you .😅😂
ОтветитьHi Luke. What do u think about the tents u air up? Quality? Can u do a test?

ОтветитьAlways like watching your video's. I'm all set to start doing mine..I also dig how your surrounded by newly young tress. They're like youngins from adult trees..lol its always great to see our Forrest trees that litter the ground and are able to spring up new ones.
ОтветитьDamn, I realize how broke I am when he says how inexpensive things are... But they still seem too expensive to me.
ОтветитьYou should try motorcycle glasses, they have foam around the eyes to block wind and we wear clear at night to see better...😎 Just a thought while watching you get pelted!!! Happy Trails! 🥶
Ответить“I’m not afraid to live on the edge” “I don’t fear danger” censors the word hell lmao
