Should people sacrifice their sight for phones? When an individual goes blind, he will not be using a phone at all!!!

Companies are keeping this matter secret for their own benefit. The cost of manufacturing OLED screens is low. People do not understand this matter.
Anyone who suffers from migraines or depression should change their phone to the iPhone 11 and will see their health will improving

I will publish a study soon on the reason for the large number of suicides in South Korea. One of the reasons is the large amount of depression caused by AMOLED screens.
because South Korea only has AMOLED screens for all device !!!

I can’t always see it, but it gives me terrible eye strain and headaches.
I’m still on my iPhone 8 Plus due to the good 16:9 1080p LCD screen. Unfortunately there are rumours the next iPhone SE will be OLED 🫤

its like...its not often perceptible consciously, but it still is registered by the pupils & brain, which react and cause a cascade of symptoms. thankyou for making this video!!

The flicker isn't constant it is more random but often right after i blink. It looks similar to the demonstration in the video. Usually it is more of a black flash but sometimes it is much faster than portrayed. I see similar effects with color wheel projectors, the image randomly splitting into green, red, blue. This effect also happens to a minority of people. I thought the screen was broken with a lose wire or bad GPU drivers lol

I thought I was crazy with my new Macbook Pro M3. My eyes started straining (vision becoming blurry), and other migraine symptoms began flaring after minutes of use.
I returned the MacBook today and now have to look for an alternative..

Last iPhone that didn’t get a eye strain/headache iPhone 7 , Samsungs all give me eyestrain most recent s21/s22 didn’t bother with s23 , I also used honor 90 which claims to have flicker free technology but I still suffering , I gone from a flagship iPhone 15 to a budget Moto g54 so far it hasn’t caused a problem but it’s letdown in every other aspect

To decrease influence of PWM on your eyes
- use iPhone with the smallest screen size
- use it at max distance away from the eyes
- set it to max brightness
- use black theme ( it greatly decrease the pwm effect )

I was so happy that I finally got a good phone (galaxy s23) but after 2 months I was having problems with my eyes, things sometimes were out of focus after looking at my phone, headaches or similar happened often, all this problems were worse at low brightness, good thing that I found more people with the same problem online, so sadly I was forced to sell it, now I have a cheap LCD screen and my eyes feel Way better, is like recovering slowly.
Honor 90 have a screen with 3000pwm (or something like that) Hz so I am waiting for that phone to arrive officially to my country.
Btw I wasn't able to see flickering in the screen, but my body reacted to it.

Dark mode makes this much better, and there are other ‘tricks’ that lets you have the brightness on full without getting to bright. No dimming equals no PWM flickering.

google pixel phones with OLED -- like the 5, 6, and 7 - all give me eye strain immediately. Samsung galaxy's super AMOLED are completely comfortable to use. The AMOLED in my pixel 2 was also great. Thanks to Consumerism, we have a billion crappy panels being used to cut costs instead of ONE that is the BEST in ALL phones.
