Is this only for MagSafe chargers?

Am I excited: NO! Damn screen goes black after 20 seconds unless you have an iPhone 14 or 15.

What iPhone stand are you using? It looks like just a MagSafe charger by apple. How do you get it to sit at an angle?

My nightstand mode doesn’t stay on. What am I doing wrong?

I tried this last night, but found that the display goes dark after a short period of time. If I touch the screen, it reappears, but then goes dark again after another period of time. Is this STANDBY mode supposed to be a mode that stays lit all of the time?

Why is my clock three hours off?

It would have been a whole lot better if Apple had not restricted to enabling this only during charging. I made the mistake of charging my iPhone 12 many times for the entire night and the battery conked off, left with 84% charging capacity 😞. I would not repeat this mistake with my iPhone 14 Plus. Don't need the night stand mode when my Apple Watch does the job better.

So, Standby Mode only works with very new iPhones? Is that right iPhones 14 & 15, I have a 12 and after about 30 second the screen just goes black.

iphone 14 pro - standby with 2 widgets hide its content after like 5 seconds, i can even swipe up and down and I see widgets with hidden content. But full screen clock stays on .. why ?

I honestly don’t care very much for this feature. But I do like how Apple added newer ringtones as we were long overdue for new ones.

this is great and all but as I am testing it out. The stand by mode for the clock keeps turning off? Is there a setting that allows it to stay on all the time say , during the evening?

Super enjoying the standby and now I am thinking of upgrading to a phone with Always on Display. Sad it can’t stay on even with locked off since it will on work on lock mode lol. It’s just so funny tho, never even considered to use my phone this way since I usually fall asleep while using it haha.

All screens needs to have bedmode, pencil adapted, wireless charging (ipad too) , iwatch with magnetic, iwatch with functional bands, automatic sleep mode (power off when nobody is using) people overslept watching their phone o tablet, SIRI HAD TO USE CHAPGPT, etc

Didnt work on my iPhone 13 pro max running latest beta 17. It switched off in 30 seconds and never came back.

I don't know why, but this feature peaked my interest when revealed at WWDC. I do still have a few questions about this. Can the transition to red screen be turned off? Does it show currently active alarms that are set? Can you interact with the alarms as they are going off (hit the snooze/off button)?

Why does my StandBy mode turn off by having the widgets go blank after 30 seconds or so...Makes no sense. I get the idea yours doesn't do that somehow or are you filming it after it starts up to the point before it does the same?

hmm. I have the latest beta update and an iphone 14 Pro but standby doesn’t work for me. it is enabled but when i plug in and turn sideways, nothing changes.
