About Natalia Trevino Amaro:
Natalia was born in Spain, lived in Mexico for a few years, and now lives in the US for the majority of her life. She has always been an artsy kid, and she grew up in the performing arts and always finding different ways to express her creativity. When her family moved to the US, it was the first time she attended a school that didn’t require a uniform and it was life-changing.
Fashion design was something she’d always wanted to pursue, but didn’t think of it as a “legit career” until she got to high school and learned to sew. From her freshman year onward, she created and created, eventually landing at the Fashion Institute of Technology’s international fashion design program.
During her time at FIT, she was exposed to the conversation about sustainability in the industry, meet Natalia Trevino Amaro, a fashion brand built on ethics and sustainability.
