ОтветитьWow. What a design.
ОтветитьSounds like a guitar and harp at the same time
ОтветитьI like these videos because there’s a level of casualness to them. Not like, I guess something like inside edition. Where the host has like a script and it just feels tight and almost boring. This is so fun because rob really lets them explain their instrument, let them ACTUALLY PLAY IT, unlike something like inside edition of pbs or something. My favourite one was the banjo episode. I love these! Keep it up!
ОтветитьWhen you were jamming with the F key Cora, it sounded as if you’d been playing for years, so sweet, so raw, thanks for sharing your talent with the world. May your future connections with music take you far.
ОтветитьSalieu was a great sport and demonstrator. His father must be very proud of him.
ОтветитьHow can you not grin watching this? Thanks for tapping into the beautiful, uniquely human universality of music. The kora is so expressive and beautiful.
ОтветитьHave you ever tried portuguese guitar?
ОтветитьIt's really commendable that you can play with your hands.
ОтветитьHii dear friands il love You annd the thing
ОтветитьHere a cool idea for you. When you were visiting that Japanese lady she showed you the picks she Taped on her fingers you probably could use that same method on the Kora.
ОтветитьThats a banjo

ОтветитьIt is crazy to think somewhere in Gambia a dude was playing his 20 string Kora, and said..holy guacamole if i just had 1 more string i could get that
Low F#.
Harpa africana!!!!!
Ответитьsound like the Puerto Rican Quatro
ОтветитьWONDRFULL
ОтветитьI like how a lot of traditional African music sounds strangely modern. It's clear that modern music was influenced by African music. In fact probably more so than classical and traditional European music, because I don't get that same feeling from European music until the late 19th century when they were starting to draw inspiration from other parts of the world.
ОтветитьI seen a video that Rob Scallon made featuring the sitar, which is an instrument that I adore. And now to see this video about the Kora made me ask myself...."why haven't I subscribed ?" Which is what I will do...immediately. I have always had a fascination with musical instruments of the world. Thank You Mr. Scallon for taking your precious time to create this very interesting and enriching video!
