PS: I like this video particularly because I was trying to find out how to plan a route with Google My Maps and you noted that it doesn't work with GPS. But, my other application is plotting well locations for our non-profit and these don't have place names. The bit you shared about custom markers is what I needed to know! Maybe you can make a followup video where you demonstrate how to import KML data (I saw that you can export)?

Question: I already use google Maps for creating driving maps. Is there a way to use a “my Map” in Gmaps? Or, do I just have to duplicate everything to have both versions?

Thank you for a easy to follow video on My Maps. Is there a way you can route on your phone from a map you create on my maps. Some videos show a send to phone option but I cant see anything like that. It would be brilliant if I can create the routes on my PC and use them as drop off points on a route

Google Mymaps cannot readily be used as navigation on a cellphone or gps. You can try. But you wont succeed.
