Can someone tell me what is that sound?

If the Hiroshima atomic bomb (30,000 pounds of TNT) killed over 80,000 people instantly and killed a total of 500,000 people from the radiation and injured tens of thousands more, not to mention destroying the entire city. Imagine what the castle Bravo Hydrogen Bomb (15 Megatons, 30 Billion tons of TNT) could do.

The scariest thing about this footage is that it is actually shot during the day. The bomb has released so much light that the camera exposure was forced to adjust to the point that day appeared as if night. You can't see any evidence of sunlight because this bomb is so bright!

That’s so weird, most footage I see has the fireball and orange sky last about a second before it fades away and becomes a normal mushroom cloud, is it a difference in how this one works?

What causes that horrifying sound from the nuke blast? Is it just the sound of the propellers of the aircraft that's filming the test? This is both horrifying yet beautiful to say the least!

Edit: nvm found the answer it's all but a good ol plane making all the noise! Still gives it that terrifying feel to the footage!

In order to understand how powerful this bomb was, don't look at the fireball directly, just look at the clouds that are down below and how fast clouds are moving until they completely dissipate in background at near end of video.

The biggest question I've always wondered is why? Why does ut matter that ine nation could drown the other in 2000ft of water when you could drown in 10? You can tell this is colorized, because it's all just one color, but only the brightness changes. The real colour of a nuclear bomb starts off as a blue-white flash, then fades to yellowish-orange.

Fun fact: this was a 15 megaton Hydrogen nuclear bomb (30 Billion pounds of TNT) with a maximum of 25-30 megatons. Over 2,000 times more powerful than the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The terrifying truth is if we would of dropped this incredibly powerful bomb it would of easily annihilated half of Japan and killed probably half the Japanese population.

I honestly don't think there will ever be a nuclear launch on another country (doesn't matter from whom). Any country that decides to make this decision, they have to be absolutely insane, and one would hope the people working underneath whoever is in charge, would stop the idiot from giving the order. Just because one person (leader) says they want the launch to happen and to "make it so", does not mean it will happen. Hundreds of people working underneath said leader, would know to stop the individuals command, it would mean the destruction of most of the planet, even the antagonist's "loyalists" would know they don't want this, their entire country would be reduced to ashes, resulting in all their deaths. The US is the only country in history to use this power, and at the time, rightfully so due to the devastation and pure malice that was inflicted upon the US. Every country knows this, we are, in some eyes, the most volatile, most aggressive, the most serious when it comes to global warfare, and any country that opposes this knows that if they "push the button", they and their country will be completely gone in the blink of a eye.
