He's got one of those voices that you fall asleep to while your mom is folding towels on a Saturday in front of the T.V.

They need to AI Peter's voice so the current crop of 'true crime documentarian's" can use it, instead of the robot sounding ones they currently do now.

Actor John Ingle has a similar voice. The TV was on one morning and I heard what I though to be the voice of Peter Thomas but it was John Ingle.

Iconic, Amazing, Passionate voice. I have been watching forensic files reruns every night for over a decade. Some I've seen 50+ times and i never tire of it because of this man's voice. Also on a side note, it was crazy how good his memory was at 80 years old. And the fact that his voice was still so strong up until his last year or so. I saw an interview with him in 2013 (aged 89) and he still had the same voice & memory, Recalling every name and date from the past 50+ years. He truly lived a blessed life. What an outstanding man!

2023 and just finding Peter Thomas. His voice is so great on Forensic Files. His real voice here sounds nothing like Forensic Files. Weird. Seems like a nice man. Too bad people have to die. Hypnotic voice

I was honored to work with Peter as a film sound mixer in New York, and also to hire him for a show I directed. his voice sparkled in ads and assured you in docs, and educated you on PBS. He was the nicest guy you ever wanted to work with. A monster in his field, who was as sweet and gentle as a country pastor. Especially in his straw hats. Rest in Peace, Peter.
