I enjoyed this show a lot more than motown 25, here we had more variety and every performer did way beyond excellent. it makes sad and nostalgic that many of this artist are no longer with us, but they all printed a memory that will last forever in our ❤ hearts

I just wonder what it was like to be at the Apollo Theater my uncle and Aunt drove me to Apollo Theater in 1957. We set out and looked up at it. I was so happy and wanted to go inside. But they were on their way to New Jersey Atlantic City. But because of this video I'm able to see the inside of this great theater we're all of the great comedians and singers musicians gave their best to everyone seated in the audience. WOW, this brought me back to so many fun and loving memories when I was a teenager, going to the house parties and teen clubs back in the day. Because of the way the world is today ... I stay home sick for the wonderful and safe times we had long ago. I so enjoyed seeing everyone here and letting them take me back home, if just for a little while ... This was amazing!

What an amazing example of our culture and how much class, dignity, and respect our entertainers projected to the world. Look at what hip hop has done to our music and our culture. Hip hop came a destroyed any resemblance of civility. We don’t even have bands anymore. Confunkshon, Cameo, LTD etc Wr used to go see a band throw down which a great singer always emerged from. We’re in a sad state. I once heard an old preacher state years ago that black folks will be the first peoples in the history of man destroyed by music. Thanks for this gem!
