It sucks because I love the game with a passion but I hate because of my level that I can’t even have fun playing online anymore. Weather I use a max Anakin or 800 grevious I just get targeted and jumped because the went feels it’s their need to tell me I’m bad like I just want to enjoy my favorite game after a long day at work bruh

Naw there have been plenty of toxic players on this game since the start. They will always be elitist on this game even though they barely play any more, or if they do play, it will be solo because no one wants to play with them. I stopped playing when they stopped updating the game. I used to be big on the forums but yeah in the discord server now and even get messages on console with people talking shit. Most of that is from hero showdown or hvv even some times which i play mainly galactic assault though been playing more starfighter. It is a casual game that still rewards ultimate plays and yeah i think some people just will look at the negative instead of putting in the work to get what they want out the game. They do it on star wars and other video games all the time but with this game they have their own karen league 😂

The only problem I have with this game is that I get teamed with very bad people against amazing players. Not only dose this effect the experience for me but it also makes me feel like a really bad player even thought I’m decent at best. It probably just a skill issue but I wish I could have friends so I can enjoy my time duelling. Besides that… I still like this game for what it is :)

No cards at all is the simple rule that can easily create a healthy competition ground.

I love this game and there's definitely elite players but if you want the hard-core competitive shit you play fighting games

I'm no pro by any means, but translating social media attention to skill at the game and therefore "pro status" Don't sound right to me...

I stopped taking this game seriously. There was a match where my team is winning and when the opponents were close to defeat, they used duplicate bug and picked four Darth Vaders, all of my teammates quit and so did I. I first thought it was a cheat and tried to report. When I found out that it’s just a bug and they never fixed it, it became my last straw. EA visions with bf2 is just an arcade game with Star Wars skin which makes shitload of money through micro transactions. There’s no point in investing your time, effort and mental well-being for a dead game already abandoned by devs

The wanna be sweat community is cringe asf. A week ago some dude messaged me saying I was trash while he was using leia just shooting explosives from the back than uses iden stunning people. I shit on him but he kept crying. Dudes picture was a furry so after calling him out got blocked

It’s sad that a game with such potential is tarnished by clowns with a god complex sweating out a buggy game for purely online bragging rights about people they’ll never know in real life, truly mind boggling which is why playing sparingly and for fun is the only true way to go.

Okay let's keep it a buck fifty here, this game is broken. It's so broken that I have to give credit where credit is due, players like TheStarBazaar contribute to trying to help others be able to join in on the Battlefront community even though he and other well established players admit this game is just broken as all hell. He makes good points in this video that the majority of the Battlefront community will vehemently deny. EA screwed the pooch twice with this IP and I'm glad that other companies will have the opportunity to potentially fix what EA blatantly dropped the ball on because of their greed.

And here is me just plugging away as a casual..
I enjoy the game for its chaos.. And generally ignore anyone claiming greatness.
The modes I play are filled with people getting a hero.. then zipping around the map killing drones, running from real fights.. even troopers that fight back scare them off.... then rant about their huge kill scores and first place spot.
Each to their own eh?

the most useless players in this "community" are the hero and villains players you can see on GA... 100+ kills on GA with a hero - that means you need to find a noob-lobby to pull that shit off in the first place, because that usually dont happen on the watch of some experienced players, who would fuck you up... and in addition to that, this hero players almost never play the objective, or help out the team, because they are to scared to lose the hero... so 2 things happen at once: 1. you terrorize and scare off a lot of new players, who decided to give the game a chance, and 2. you piss of a lot of veteran players, by not helping to win the game... all that for a 100+ kill streak video, that a bunch of idiots watch and then try to follow the example...

Ive been playing since launch.This is why i can barely play this game anymore its super boring tbh between everyone thinking they are pro and overpowered characters i cant have fun anymore.

I find the best duelist are actually the most chill - they dont care about winning or losing but the actual duel itself - hell as someone that loves a good duel i respect anyone that has bested me - we all have good and bad days - but its a game meant to be enjoyed ffs
