This is crap! How unfortunate that Maytag has lost its reputation! Clothes do not get wet ! Just put a dial small ,medium ,large& xtra large. Screw auto sensing bull shit!dCan't wait to buy a washer & trust me it will not be a Maytag . Washer is less than 1 year old! Sad ! America's downfall continues!

These washers really suck. Will never buy again.

They don't want you to see how really LOW the water level is. It absolutely beats the clothes to death, it spins them into giant balls of fabric you have to unroll. The wrinkles are so permanent, they don't come out in the dryer. Delicate is also a joke. The Bedding mode gives you more water to start, but when the rinse cycle starts, your clothes will be beat to a pulp again. It's really not the washing machine's fault, as they aren't designed to run so stupidly. I feel sorry for Maytag to have to sell these. Thank you OBAMA and your common-sense energy efficiency standards. Nice work

Worst washer I have ever owned. I wish I could return it. Doesn't allow enough water to clean the garments. I use more water and electricity because I have to wash multiple times to get clean .

Have mine for sale after using for 4 months. It's the worst washer I've ever purchased. Never another Maytag.
Wonder if there's a way to bypass the HE option. My clothes and pet beds come out just as dirty as when they went in.

I have a Bravo XL Commercial and it is the worst washer ever! I grew up with Maytag (Old School Ones) so I stuck with it this time after finally being able to afford a new set. I literally threw my money down the drain. I will be buying Speed Queen although I was told they got rid of their best design and went digital. :( Can't win!

I don't hate my new Maytag BravosXL (Commercial Technology-haha) washer and dryer....I loathe it!!! The dryer was replaced twice within 2 months with problems and the washer uses an inch of water to wash a commercial size load. The clothes come out half dry/half wet at the end of the cycle. Our 15 year old front load Samsung we sold did a better job! Will never buy Maytag again! Buyer beware!!!

Do not waste your time nor money on this washer! Your clothes will not become clean! Its like wearing your own filth and everyone else's! I cannot believe how disgusting clothes come out, the amt of lint/pil due to constant cloth on cloth without water moment, nothing rarely moves even while less than half full. Ive had HE washers even front loaders! This is by far the worst experience in my lifetime! 😒

I hate this washer so much. It doesn’t wash any of the clothes on top with a normal setting. I have to wash everything on bulky sheets. Which then is too much water.

Worst washer ever. If you want your clothes clean, Only wash one garment at a time. I’m not exactly sure how it’s efficient if I’m doing 47 loads of laundry each week since doing 3 loads as traditionally washed does not clean the garments, towels and sheets. I hate this washer. If I had the $$ to get a new one, I absolutely would. What a piece of garbage.

I found a solution after 2.5yrs. Sat it on the curb with a free sign and bought a nice LG washer with an agitator than fills up with as much water as I want?

This is the WORST washer ever. You can’t claim efficiency when the washer doesn’t even fill enough to do a full load. You’ll have to do multiple small loads forcing you to use more water.

I’ve had this thing almost 2 years now, I still hate it. I felt guilty bc I had said something to my fiancé about it and he felt I was ungrateful. When we moved I wanted to bring out our washer and dryer, they worked just fine, the rest of our house needed new appliances so we got a decent deal for buying everything for the kitchen and the the washer and dryer that I even picked out. I feel so ungrateful for not loving my new washer (love the dryer that it pairs with). My girlfriend even warned me bc she had the same one. I wish I would have told her before I bought it. Well now that he’s gotten to use it he comes out and says “how can I get this to fill up more” I said that’s it.

This concept does not work, these washing machines do not clean the clothes, they damage them.

Avoid Maytag

Poor design. The low water mode doesn't even get all the clothes wet, So you put it in Bulky loads setting and it uses too much water. The California waste of time.

I think I could spit into this thing on my loads of laundry and get it more wet than than the measly amount of water dispensed to wash a full load of clothes. After reading all these other reviews of people with the same issue, it makes me question how to clean my clothes actually get. This is the worst washing machine on the face of the Earth.

Without adequate water the clothes will not come clean. This washer is a waste of money. To get the washer to clean properly you have to add 15 gallons of water. I have a load of blue jeans washing. The wash action is so weak I could get the clothes cleaner by cleaning them by hand.
If you are washing light loads of slightly dirty clothes it might work for you. It helps if the clothing is synthetic. My old Maytag washer could wash a load in 35 minutes , this machine takes over an hour.
Stay way from this machine.

I'm at a friend's and was shocked using their washer. Some areas of my pants in it never got washed. Still dry. Had to flip clothes myself and run three times. Very not efficient

Had one for 12 years and sold it. It’s still going strong. These are great machines! I never had to make any repairs at all!!! 😊

I got one for free that was broken from craigslist. It had a penny stuck between agitator and drum, locking up the mecanisim. Penny came out, now it works. It does not clean clothes, makes alot of nose. What a bad design. These comments gave me a good laff. Maytag used to be a good machine.

It’s hard enough to get and keep my husbands work clothes clean and having well water in top of that, but this was is absolutely worthless!!!
