You can now set an early reminder also instead of flagging reminders
ОтветитьLife saver ! Thank you !!
ОтветитьYou changed my life after 10 years of looking for a decent task manager. Now I have it it it's always in my laptop! I thought reminders are useless.
ОтветитьHi Peter, thank you for doing these very good explained and easy to follow videos. Do you think could be good to use Reminders to pay bills? thanks for your suggestions.
ОтветитьI like to print mine out, but you cannot seem to be able to change the size of the font.
ОтветитьThe biggest disadvantage is that files cannot be attached, only photos can be attached. For me, Microsoft Todo is better.
ОтветитьHi, from Brazil. Excelente vídeo! Eu, como fã da Apple e fã de tecnologia ainda melhoro o meu inglês. Isso não poderia ser melhor!
ОтветитьOne thing about iPadOS is that pane feature where you see an entry ostensibly selected & opened in the background whenever you open some of the iOS native apps. For example, Notes, Reminders, Contacts all operate in this fashion.
I’ve accidentally tapped somewhere which then edits these “opened in the background but do not have to be and should not be” a la contacts, notes or reminders, without fail my clumsiness will overwrite information and I won’t necessarily realize it immediately. So typically until later on I’ll look up a contact and go to a field where there should be the info I’m looking for only to find the info odd, like there are a few extra irrelevant characters dangling at the end, or worse, information has been deleted!!
I’ve more or less given up on iOS’ built in apps bc of this.
By default Reminders doesn't let you set up a "start date", or give you a heads up when something is due soon, but couldn't you set a "start working on this" date within a project by simply adding a task within your project that says: "begin brainstorming for 5 minutes" (something that doesn't scare you into procrastinating), then set a due date for that? Sure, it's an extra step, but that is an easy work around if you want, say, a 3-day warning when something is due.
Ответитьsubtasks don't work on my Mac (Reminder not linked to icloud) WTF?
ОтветитьGreat video! I watched a number of objectively poor videos before stumbling across yours. You have done a good job of explaining the concepts, giving tips and tools and show examples. Thanks!
Ответитьthank you sir, i am wanting to make more use of my phones stock app. i actually understand it now :)
ОтветитьThanks so much, your video is so helpful. Nici
ОтветитьGreat Video ~ several things I didn’t know so now I am ready to improve my use of Reminders. I would love to see a video about how Notes, Reminders, Tasks & Calendars can work together more efficiently.
Ответитьyou vids are excellent!!
ОтветитьThank you for your video. But- when I make a list under relationships for each family member how do I assign that list?
ОтветитьIn sonoma, how can i add sub tasks? Command +] for inward indent is not working. Please help.
ОтветитьWhat a Legend!! 👏🏼 🎉 thank you Peter!
Ответитьdamn bro! I had no idea reminders could do much of this stuff.
ОтветитьOne alternative idea. You mentioned not to create project specific lists because all you could do was delete them. I would argue the better approach is to create a group called Archive and then move each completed project list into that and keep it collapsed. Then you get the best of both worlds, a project specific list and a way to move it from view when it's done. Furthermore, you can then reference anything you did in a particular project right in your archive folder. I'm a bit of a dork on this stuff sorry.
ОтветитьTy so much. Im gonna try this form of categorization! ❤
ОтветитьWhat’s your thoughts on things3, worth it?? Or is apple reminders enough?? (Currently using Todoist)
ОтветитьGracias! He probado muchas aplicaciones y siempre es molesto por la paga, falta de sincronización o adds. Esto ha sido super útil
ОтветитьPeter, could you please tell me how you use both Reminders and Things in concert with one another? How do you decide what goes where? Thank you in advance for any light you can shed on this for me. I really appreciate your videos.
ОтветитьI can't seem to create sub tasks - is that because I need to up-grade?
ОтветитьHow can I create the schedule view? I don’t have it on my phone
ОтветитьIs there a method to generate a list exclusively for tomorrow's tasks, excluding any tasks from today?
ОтветитьExcellent!! I am about to rewatch and take notes!! I have been really wanting to switch into reminders and get use out of it. I thought I would just find one or two tips I could use. But wow! I think there is only one or two I might not use!! Can’t wait to watch the others!
ОтветитьI'm going through a period where I need to save money on food. This helped me make inventory of my pantry, fridge, and freezer, and add expiration dates to foods. This is gonna alleviate monthly planning so much, thank you!
ОтветитьThank you for showing me that reminders can do so much more than I realized. As a chronic procrastinator I’m going to use what you said about lists and dates to boot me in the backside to get going on tasks and projects. Never rush up to a deadline again!
ОтветитьI couldn't get command square right bracket to work with my iphone or ipad. I feel betrayed.
ОтветитьYou are simply amazing teacher. Thank you so much for your tutorials.
Ответитьcould you maybe make a reminders playlist?
ОтветитьWhat do you do witht eh inbox list?
ОтветитьGreat video, I learned so much! Thank you!
ОтветитьWow. I was debating using reminders as my task / to-do manager and was hesitant. Now I'll set it up. I think it will replace toodledo. Thanks!
ОтветитьI yellow legal pad or daily planner seems way simpler. Somehow this seems like too many steps and non-intuitive.
