HOME trailer | Film Fest Gent 2016

This movie was awful. The only good thing about this film was Kerry Knuppe, and I'm actually annoyed she was in it because it's beneath her.

The filmmakers seem to have a hang up with religion and/or athiesm, because it comes up constantly out of nowhere and drags EVERYTHING down. Not that there was much to drag down to begin with, because there wasn't. Are the two girls having a moment? TIME TO SING THE LORD'S PRAYER. Did a ghost just do some weird stuff? TIME TO RECITE A PRAYER AS YOU WALK AROUND A ROOM. Putting away some stuff in a room? BETTER TALK ABOUT HOW UNCOMFORTABLE PEOPLE SAYING PRAYERS MAKES YOU. Having ANY kind of random interaction between two people? ONE PERSON HAS TO TELL THE OTHER THAT THEY SHOULDN'T SAY PRAYERS AROUND OTHER PEOPLE WHO AREN'T RELIGIOUS.

This movie was awful.

The acting, aside from Knuppe, was terrible, the plot went virtually nowhere, and nothing of any real interest happens. This is what Poltergeist would have been if it were written by a 5th grader. Perhaps even filmed by one. That 5th grader would have gotten a B, and only because of their age. An adult gets an F. A teenager would get an F.

I'm upset I spent an hour and twenty minutes on this movie.
