Norse is 100% a scam. It’s literally all Norwegian people, aircraft and product, all designed to avoid having to play by the rules, which has always been the Norwegian Air way.

Nice report. Personally, I would t touch them with a barge pole. As someone who works in the industry, and have many friends who were absolutely thrown under the buss job wise when Norwegian ceased operation, to see the same shady faces reemerging as Norse, as you say, to avoid the debt and reactivate the same failed business model is just sickening. I don't know how many times low-cost long haul has to be tried and seen to fail, and I, personally, don't believe they will last that long, even with all the hype and fluff. On a different note, in the "Premium" section, that presentation of the meal was a disgrace. Shockingly poor.

Fun fact about Norse: The dreamliners were actually from Norwegian but Norwegian retired their 787s and gave them to Norse

Liked the livery of the 787 and the interior looked very welcoming, great seat but for an inaugural flight being 2 hours late for departure is not a good start, presentation of the food looked pretty ordinary, but some great camera shots flying out of New York, how long was that take off run !

Don’t take the taxi from OSL as it’s quite expensive. Take the train

Good to see a full inaugural flight. Seat recline in PE is awesome, I'm really impressed.

Wrong. During the pandemic, Norwegian, unlike American and major European carriers, didn’t get much support to survive . Billions of dollars were thrown after Air France Lufthansa, United etc. Norwegian just got a loan guarantee. The conditions were to reduce dept drastically. That’s why the long haul operations ended. Today, Norwegian safe and sound European airline. And unlike the competitors. Can pay back the loans/guarantees.

Oddly this flight does NOT land in Oslo. It actually is a flight from Jamaica Queens, New York to Gardermoen, Norway (Oslo Airport is in Gardermoen).

A bit confused here on the JFK terminal... Doesn't Norse Atlantic use Terminal 7 in JFK? Why is this in Terminal 1?
