I done same but while booting in windows its not opening giving error like need to repai ( 0xc0000225 ce). And stuck on same page please help do I need to install windows again.? Any other option ?

I want to dual boot ubuntu and windows on my laptop, but I'm facing problems in doing so.
I have acer nitro 5 (AN515-52) i5-8300H CPU @ 2.30GHz, with 16 GB of RAM, 256 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD
Windows is installed in SSD
I have created one 100 GB partition in SSD but when I try to install ubuntu, the SSD is not visible. I tried everything like disabling secure boot, fast boot, etc. but I didn't succeed, I searched in google but nothing helped.
Can you please help me out installing ubuntu alongside windows on my laptop.
I'll be very thankful.

After installing Ubuntu and after going ahead with restart, a few lines appeared and disappeared very quickly so I couldn't read them, but it said some error and failed to install. Then it changed screen and said remove usb and press enter. Did so and it just boots up windows every time, no screen asking which os you want to boot up.

Guys donut install the grub bootloader on default hhd, do it on a seperate root partition, this will be helpfull if something goes wrong with ubuntu

I'm buying a new ssd of 250gb ram. Can I select it as bootloader device and install ubuntu on it? Is that make it faster to use?

What does swap do? And why are you choosing 4gb of ram? I have 8gb ram. Can I write 8gb?
