Goverments are at the top when it comes to budget. Yet goverments are at the bottom when it comes to user experience.

Government websites mostly are the worst designed ones.

The red asterisk one I liked alot. 👍I definitely feel like it's redundant. Most people feel out the whole form especially when there getting something of value from it.

Good to know about the form columns. I have made the mistake of creating multi-column forms before and was confused why users didn't care for it.

In fact all of them are good observations. The last one about the "required / optional" is the best for me.
