Love this video. How did you get around to the different beaches? Particularly on Koh Tao with the kiddo? We are a family of four planning to get the kids PADI certified at Bans but would love to go see some more of those lovely beaches too.

Please help, me and my wife are flying from Newcastle to Bangkok in 3 weeks time and we have never been to Thailand before so we are torn between going to Samui and then some islands or Krabi then some islands.

I went to Koh Tao 22 years ago and it was paradise. There was literally divers and a some travellers and drop outs and that was it. I'm afraid to go back as I have so many amazing memories and I'm afraid it may have become too commercialised. The driftwood and shrooms comment cracked me up.

Lawrence and Eliese. It was nice commenting on your videos. I am off to koh Samui on Sunday. I will be there for 8 nights. I am looking forward to meet my dear friends in Koh Samui. I am also looking forward to do a bit of beach fishing. One day I will go around different resorts and get their cards. Then I can decide which one to choose, when I want to go again.

It is NOT correct to say nothing in Thai beaches can hurt you 😂. People literally die every year from box jellyfish and there is so much dengue fever, among other things... Don't make mistake, it is no Mediterranean.

final thoughts? If you had to spend one full month in one of the island..which one would you pick?
