How to Overcome Tech Phobia and Tech Fears

Don’t be the person that has a big idea for setting up a business online then giving up because your fear of all things tech begins to overwhelm you.

You CAN have your cake and eat it. You can fall in love with your destiny, rather than stress about your tech issues.

The main problem with setting up a business online is that there is a lot of learning. When was the last time you challenged yourself to really learn new things? Actively learn? Taking notes; going over the lessons several times to either make sense of them, or work out how they applies to you and your business?

If it's been a while since you last did any serious learning, those learning neural pathways in your brain may be all kinds of rusty.

You are not alone if you feel hopeless and despair that you WILL NEVER be able to get your head around the technical aspects of building a list, or creating images, or scheduling tasks and prioritising your time. Believe me, it takes time, and sometimes a lot of time.

One thing guaranteed to make that time stretch out? Panicking or about tech issues and stressing about being able to get your head around it all.

The key to all this learning about tech is
1) Remind yourself "baby steps" - learning a new language or new tech stuff takes time so sit back and enjoy the journey
2) Give yourself a daily pat on the back for how much you know now, compared to yesterday (even if it doesn't make much sense yet)
3) Deep breathing or a wee bit meditation can steady your nerves
4) Step away from the computer for 5 minutes
5) Go get some fresh air and oxygen to clear out the cobwebs in the brain
6) Try again tomorrow. After a good rest and a break, your brain synapses start snapping more quickly and suddenly it can all start making a whole lot of sense
7) Try different times of the day. You may find late night or early morning are your best times for concentrating
8) Get support and clarity from the VIP Mastermind group. There's always someone who's struggled exactly like you with any given subject. Reach out and get the reassurance or clarity you need.
