They have come a long way since the bloody civil war that destroyed the country not so long ago. An amazing number of women are now in top positions at the govt level. Still this is a dictatorship under "president" Paul Kagame and they have a long way to go to be a prosperous nation.

I wonder if that civil war and massacres were necessarry that country become prosperous? Were all criminals were punished, I doubt.

We hired a new employee at my company here in Canada. He became a very good worker, smart, and he speaks 4 languages. While talking to him, I asked him where he was from.....Rwanda, in the city of Kigali, he says....so here I am exploring Kigali.....and I can tell you, I'm more than impressed with how modern and clean it is. So I keep watching more and more videos on this African country, because it seems like a really great country to visit, and I can connect and converse with our new Rwandan friend about the country he came from.
