Psychedelics saved me from years of uncontrollable depression, anxiety, and illicit pills addiction. Imagine carving heavy chains for over a decade and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. there are actually 3 main reasons it was illegals. 1 Racism it was far easier to arrest Mexicans and blacks for using it. 2 it hurt the alcohol industry so they lobby to have no competition and 3 it hurt the pharmaceutical companies once they found out that weed had medicinal properties .

Whatever they can control and benefits the government better financially the government will support and legalise.

Imagine you come home from work completely physically exhausted and you want to smoke a joint to calm down and then there's a knock at the door because someone has called the police because it smells of marijuana, and you're punished for it and your neighbour is partying loudly with alcohol.

The legalization of marijuana has allowed hospitals to find out that marijuana is VERY BAD FOR YOUR HEART ❤️! People who have drinking and or marijuana problems and think they need to use drugs to relax should instead try supplementing with magnesium, it allows muscles to relax and takes away muscle pain, most people in the USA 🇺🇸 are deficient of magnesium and the human body requires magnesium daily to function properly many metabolic functions involve magnesium including normal muscle function and relaxation of blood vessels lowering blood 🩸 pressure.

I opposed marijuana because it's addictive and the odor smell.

Weed is not as bad as alcohol. If alcohol is legal and taxed. They should do the same with weed. The tax dollars they're missing out on, and the war on pot...has failed so miserably that there is no point. The federal laws that allow states to decide, and then also criminalize it on a federal level. Hurt business owners in that industry. As well as letting the govt double dip in raiding and confiscation, and also taking the tax dollars from them.

They are slowly making changes. But thats not what we need. We need someone with sense and knowledge of the industry. And its safety standards for customers. To create a safe way for people to get this recreational drug to do in safe places like their home. Just like with alcohol. Because anything else, just pushes people into unsafe ways, with unsafe people, and also puts them at risk for doing something classified as illegal.

Dispensaries are a step in the right direction. But if we can roll up to a gas station and buy a 24 pack. We should be able to buy a pack of J's also to enjoy at home. Last i heard, 70% of americans supported legalization. That just shows that our govt does not serve its people.

Been selling alcohol for years and it's ok that it rotts your liver and leads to DWI or DUI..I'm 52 and still have never seen on the news that Marijuana was the cause of a horrible crime....even an accident..but it's ok to be prescribed Xanax or oxicontin and think it's ok bc a Dr gave it to you but will not let you know about the withdrawal that's coming with it once you stop taking them.
