"Hey guys, this is Dan Jourdan, the sales energizer with another sales energizer tip of the week! Okay, I had the pleasure yesterday to go to a ceremony with my son for his friend, which was an Eagle Scout ceremony. The guy's turned into an Eagle Scout. And it had everything to do with success in life and in sales. You see, what the , I guess the, what the Scout master said was when he was giving him this honor was that all these little badges you get along the way to coming an Eagle Scout, they're not just badges. They're signs of individual accomplishment. It's the effort that's taking you to the place where you are! Now, I'm a sales coach and trainer and generally the people that call me to use me, who are already successful. You know, they do it; they're successful people first and then they are successful sales people. And they do it because the keep track of those, those little badges. You see, with successful sales people know is that they have to constantly be getting better. Not for the money. They already have the money. But they use the money differently than some people use it. They use the money as points on the board. They use the money as little badges, cause the only way they can keep track is with numbers. Don't make money the goal. Make money, just the points to let you know that you're succeeding in your goal. Do that this week! And, have your best week ever!"
