The continual lies and "i dont know" in her flat monotone voice angered me, it was all such a mess at the beginning for him to try and get straight, i couldn't do what he did i would have gotten so inpatient and just lost it, she's acting like it will all just go away😂

The detective dod greay work with the small talk - getting a resting reaction. But going straight to the vehicle was a super hard pincer. An option to ease her panic early might have been to ask her about her ex - boyfriend and tell her HE'S the suspect, and can she help with who he is as a guy, and tendencies shes seen, and why HE might try to murder his new girl. AND THEN work toward if she's ever driven other cars, big cars, and THEN the suspect car. It gives her chances to dig holes and make bs up and feel more confident to "help".
