thanks
ОтветитьI can confirm this wasn't the last video on API I watched
Ответитьbest
ОтветитьThank you this was extremely helpful.
ОтветитьConsult and implement your API integration.
ОтветитьSimple, elegant and informative. Love it, thanks mate 👌🏻
ОтветитьVery concise. Thank you.
Ответитьgreat video
ОтветитьYou have provided a flawless and comprehensive definition, capturing the essence of everything perfectly.
ОтветитьYour channel is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much for making the leaning process that easy. Your drawings and detailed way of explaining makes everything way easier
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьI like how you show how many people and parts are required to create one app. I feel like in the beginning of my career, I always thought it was just one person behind a screen, but really, it is thousands of people, and using lots of resources that have already been created!
Ответитьyou are a genius, thanks!!
ОтветитьNice introduction. Have absolutely no idea what I am delving into, and only just installed Fast API.
Ответитьcan you please talk slower mate
ОтветитьNice drawing explanation 👍
ОтветитьThis was helpful, thank you.
ОтветитьThank you, for sharing. I get a better general idea than before.
ОтветитьI am totally ignorant here. I barely know what search word to use to find a video like this. It has helped. I’m really wondering how it works. Maybe someone can help me with a very specific example:
I sell on eBay, and I have recently started selling on another platform. It is my understanding that this new platform uses an API to pull (sync) all of my eBay listings onto the new selling platform.
How does this happen? Does it work like a bot, crawling through all my listings and “clicking” on each one to grab the data? My page views have spiked recently, and it is so dramatic that it cannot be organic clicks from human users. Could this be from the API sync? Would an API even work this way, or would it grab the data in a different way?
Any answers would be greatly appreciated!
Supernova!!
ОтветитьSo with the Uber example you gave, is each piece basically a micro-service?
Ответитьthank you for such nice and easy explanation.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьAwesome content
ОтветитьThank you 🥹 I’m a visual learner and appreciate how you demonstrated and explained this. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьAlright, you're literally the first video i have watched when looking into API. Pretty cool and helpful. So now my question: There are arc-gis databases for public govt info. Have you worked with those?
ОтветитьWhy is it in the thumbnail he has a beard and in the video he doesn’t? I thought I was gonna watch a cave man teach me about API’s.
Ответитьheyyyyy first of all thank you for this amazing video, I am a 29yo guy that is trying to get into the IT as a scrum master from being in logistics and finance and the job I am looking for requires knowledge of APIs so this gave me some relief to get to know some stuff. Next stop is SOAP and REST they told me to study so... sigh
I am also doing SQL courses and they go well! So anything you have I will use :D
PS. Are you single ? xD
Excellent
ОтветитьI usually don't comment, but this was great! A little too fast paced verbally, but overall amazing :)
ОтветитьSame overused restaurant analogy, proves that if you can't explain something simply you never understand it, never bother about this guy and ask GPT it will give you better understanding.
API comes from different approach, that's where it gets complicated and everything he is saying is wrong.
They say API is what connects to application or method such as Server Data to UI Interface to show actual data readable by the user.
but then when you go do deeper there's Webhook, and stuff where API is a form of Data, such as WEATHER API or COVID API, those API returns data and respresents still as API
so API is not really the mediator at all since it can hold data for whatever type. It's basically an interpreter.
I've code and created a lot of application and API still baffles me.
Thank you, it helps a lot
Ответитьplease check your subtitles settings. it looks like a vietnamese joke
ОтветитьAny other apps like Zapier that allow API usage? I can code a fair amount will be getting my bachelors in 2 years in both CS and CE
ОтветитьCool AI video. Thanks
ОтветитьHigh audio quality like this needs to be embraced!!
ОтветитьAmazing explanation really !
ОтветитьYou are a Genius !!!!
ОтветитьSorry didn't get it
ОтветитьThis cleared things up really well thanks dude.
Ответитьbrilliant analogy...when companies or bosses say "present something on a piece of paper" this is what they want...very creatively done impressive
ОтветитьThanks for summarizing what an API is.
Ответитьincredibly easy to understand and your examples were nice to follow, great content! thank you for posting
ОтветитьCool topic... APIs are powerful... Thanks
Ответитьdude this has been the most relaxing coding based video i've seen.
ОтветитьThanks for this.
ОтветитьGreat vid man. I'ts honeslty not a difficult concept but people, for whatever reason, tend to go super high level and granular before giving you an the basics. What is it, where is it, what is it's purpose.
ОтветитьWell explained
ОтветитьAmazing thanks 😊
