Me la dedico a mi. Por que estoy cansado y tengo muchas ganas de irme. Pero no puedo dejar a mi hija. Y por mas que no vea sentido.. tengo que aguantar por ella.🥺😭
ОтветитьIf this piece of music doesn’t move you and make you think of those family and friends that are no longer here then you are already dead - totally beautiful and describes what life is all about, Happiness and Sorrow
ОтветитьHaunting!
ОтветитьSublime
ОтветитьYour heart just sinks in complete awe. Such beauty, such soul, a whole universe of emotions.
Indescribably magnificent.
DIOS existe ❤❤❤!!!
ОтветитьFor my family and friends in Ukraine. Hope. Keep rising.
ОтветитьPreciosa....
ОтветитьMasterpiece
ОтветитьA materpiece
Ответитьخار مادر غم اگر موسیقی بود

ОтветитьDedicated to my father. I miss you more than anything...
ОтветитьImpossível não se emocionar 😭
Ответитьtwo parallel lines never meet but there is a point up there, far in the universe where they do...
ОтветитьQue belleza ❤❤
Ответитьso amazing😍
ОтветитьThis piece by Barber is just sadness and then raises it to heaven. My favorite of music to remember.
ОтветитьI can't even discribe the feelings I have, listening to so much beautyful melancholia
Ответить"When I die, I want you to be happy anyway. I want you to be happy to show that my life actually meant something, something that contributed significantly to your happiness."—Lars Holdrum
ОтветитьIf I had been there waving my hands around at the front I don't think anyone would have noticed...least of all the orchestra as I didn't see any of them look at the wavy hand man once, and I could have been paid too! The orchestra were pretty good though... always love that pause at the end of the build up, it takes your breath away...
ОтветитьLindaaaaa...maravilhoso em detalhes
ОтветитьI dedicate this song to my best friend whose wife passed away from cancer four years ago. He is always so sad and having a hard time moving forward. This song expresses grief but the way it ends, it feels like there is light at the end of the tunnel. I have been very patient with him and recently, his dark days are now turning into lighter days. God has given me the strength to be patient with him, and we are now moving forward in our relationship. I just saying patience is a virtue when it comes down to loving someone who has experienced loss.
Ответить: ( ...the relentlessness of fate... ) :
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьI often wonder what profound sadness Barber experienced to speak this way through song. Hans Christian Andersen once said “where words fail, music speaks”, and I’m inclined to believe Barber had no words for the grief he was feeling and so a wrote this masterpiece instead. There are a few songs that always bring me to tears, or never fail to cause frisson, it’s as if I relinquish control of my own body when they’re being played. The older I get the more I retreat into the past.
ОтветитьRACHELLLL!!!!
ОтветитьI dedicate this song to each and everyone that has a story inside of them...they dare not tell or have the words to say....Music is how we can tell our stories and experiences....❤
ОтветитьProbably the most sublime piece of music in the world. I defy anyone not to be moved by it.
Someone told me, if it makes you feel incredibly sad, to listen to it whilst watching the sunrise. It's true - it takes on a whole new sense of God's/Mother Nature's utter majesty. It will blow your mind all over again.....🤯
Quem está aqui por causa do vídeo da menininha que levou uns tiros de briquedo do pai?
ОтветитьBeautiful, mesmerising, takes your breath away, a moment you pause and admire a master piece unfold
ОтветитьHere is the Gospel (or, Good News): God says that we are sinners and that no amount of good works or behavioral changes on our part could ever make us holy enough to enter into Heaven. God sent His only begotten Son to be crucified on the cross to pay for our sins. Jesus paid a debt that He did not owe, because we owed a debt of sin that we could not pay. 2nd Corinthians 5:21, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Jesus paid for our sins by dying on the cross for us all. His dead body was buried in a grave. On the third day, Jesus raised up bodily from the dead.
The instant you believe this, God knows it and He saves you. John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” The free gift (Romans 5:15) is based solely upon your trust in what Jesus did for you, and has absolutely nothing to do with what you do for Him. Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” It is that simple my friend to be saved
1 Corinthians 15:1-4
King James Version
"15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"(1 co15:1-4)
Simplesmente maravilhoso.Bravo!😢

ОтветитьI have been listening to a lot of audiobooks on World War 2 lately, so the significance of this song is impacting me on a whole new level. It was played at both FDR’s and JFK’s funeral, but in the case of FDR, he had died n April 12, 1945. His funeral was April 15 1945 when they played this song. A little over two weeks before the fall of Berlin, and several month’s before Japan’s surrender. At the time, even though the Allies were winning, there was no way to be certain how the war would end or how long it would go on. FDR’s death had actually given Hitler renewed hope, and surely planted some seeds of doubt in those who attended the funeral. FDR left the world never knowing how 1945 would end.
ОтветитьI dedicate this song to my beloved grand father who died 11 years ago . I still miss him . He is such a great man . I miss him every day.
ОтветитьAka the Homeworld theme song
ОтветитьHi, how are you? 🙂 I am willing to learn the Viola. 🙂👍
ОтветитьIt seemed like Barber's Adagio played nonstop on media after JFK's assassination until his funeral.
ОтветитьTHE FUCKIMG PINKY DAWG, THA FUCKING HIGHHHGHH??!?!!
ОтветитьThank you, everyone. You provide hope that we are not hopelessly divided.
ОтветитьTo all who have lost a loved one - be comforted in the fact that, no matter what your beliefs are, you will see them again in your dreams. I see my mom in mine, from time to time. I always wake up crying, a mixture of profound sadness that she isn't physically here anymore, and intense bliss that her presence lingers on.
ОтветитьHumans cannot write music more beautiful than this.
ОтветитьI don’t know how to explain it other than that this songs harmonies go exactly how you want them to go in your mind , I find with many pieces of music , my mind tries to predict were the harmonies will go as the song is playing and I am left wishing it went another route but this …this is perfect✨
ОтветитьUNFASSBAR schön....... ich hab Gänsehaut........ so sanft........ so schöööööööööön.......
