A little off topic and I know you're probably in a rental but this is for anybody else if you're pumping your gas and it's going extremely slow quit using it.... What's happening is the filter is clogs up and it starts to bypass so now you are getting unfiltered fuel put into your car which could wreak havoc on your fuel system components

Very enjoyable video, kudos. Been there done that. Grab the local Frye and a Dewey Weber with a hatchet skeg and be all set, Texas style, and we were hungry for any swell above 3 ft! Ship speeds were different back then, along with the dredging. There was a shallow beach break at the north end that was rarely active, but had shape when the winds came from NE. One day at the Flagship pier, my buddy said, "Hey, that's my dad up there!" (hand waves), as we watched him reel in what would later be discovered as a record hammerhead. The Bulls are more predominant in the area though, due to the water clarity.

Ben, I really like your vibe and creativity ! You're such an inspiration for many surfers around the world. I just wish you could lower the environmental impact of your trips. Taking multiple planes across the world for the sake of catching a few waves in different countries (as fun as it might be) shouldn't be the message for younger generations.

That was awesome seeing James Fulbright. He had the best surf shop in Galveston when I was surfing in my late teens and early 20’s, I’m 54 now…. Good luck on the rest of your journey Ben! Thanks for taking us along for the ride…
