I’ve used these bookshelves for many projects. I’ve also added several shelves cut from purchased plywood that matched the thickness. These have so many uses and I’ve never had one fail. Enjoyed watching your process.

It turned out really nice!! I would recommend some peel and sick paper on your shelves for your shoes to keep the floors nice and white. You can also use it on your back wall. Great job!

Wow... I tell you, this is great use of the small space you have available. This is actually a decent size functional walk-in closet. I remember before moving into my current house, I had to be quite creative and innovative with closet space. This is a great innovative option.

If you would have cut the baseboard the shelf would have sit flat on the wall and you wouldn't have to put all those boards everywhere... I J S

What is the width and depth of your closet? I have a really small one and trying to see if this would work for mine and if I want to take out the current shelves and rods.

I love this closet makeover! Thinking of attempting something similar in mine. Wondering how the rods are holding up screwed into the shelving units rather than they would into studs? In mine I would have to do one shelving unit. The rod holder would be attached to a wall on one side.

hey, loved the video. so i bought the same bookshelves as you and what i did with one of the bookcases was, the middle piece that’s suppose to connect the top and bottom part of the bookcase, i took the middle piece to the hardwood store and had them cut the middle piece on the sides so i could only use the holes to connect the top and bottom part. so it could just be a big space for my jumpsuits and dresses so i didn’t have to use a extra rod to connect to the other two bookcases cause i wanted my dresses to go inside of the bookshelf rather than than use a rod on the outside. it may sounds confusing lol, sorry.

Hi did you use screw or nails for the rod holders. If screwed did you pre drill the holes and what size screws did you use?

This was one of the best videos. I purchased the Walmart mainstay shelves and I wanted to make them look better. This helped a lot. The wood that you attached to the wall stud. Did you use the nail gun to attach the cabinet to the wood?
