Kid you not I recommended this as a sad show to a possible newcomer to anime. Then I checked it on Netflix. Those first 7 notes immediately opened the flood gates.

okay this might be cringe af and nobody asked but this song in particular got me through one of the most depressing times in my life where i might have killed myself fr and it makes me so happy that i didnt do it because life is worth it afterall. Search help, get out of the victim mindset or just cope yourself but find a way to fix everything. I dont even watch anime in particular i might have watched 10 in my whole life but angel beats and anohana might be my favorite ones.

Angel beats is one of those animes that you can rewatch a decade later and still cry at the ending, i remember crying after watching the graduation episode where the characters shared their favorite things they wish they did before they died and were taken to the afterlife, it shows you just how amazing this anime was.
