I still have my first and only Corvette that I bought new in 81. By far my favorite. Only thing that changed on the car is the rear and motor. Im not a corvette lover or a car lover of todays cars. Im old school to the bone. My favorite times are when a new Vette pulls up at a traffic light and tries to show off and takes off like a jackass to the next light.

I’m in my mid 50’s and thank god I have finally outgrown the feeling of buying expensive toys and it is liberating! I’ve had my fair share of toys and never went into debt I couldn’t handle. I think I’m just tired of spending time cleaning them. So, no C8 in my future. I’m to the point where I just want one all around vehicle.
What happened to me was that I was able to retire and I figured out I just don’t have the time to play with my toys like I thought I would. I drive my low-mile C5 ZO6 and ride my two Harleys once in a while mainly to get them moving. I already sold my diesel pusher. I don’t even have time to golf and I live on a golf course.

My 2023 tesla m3p is faster 0-60. way less flashy then a corvette, plus sits 5 and is capable of driving itself home.

I just picked up a 2024 1LT in that same cacti green color, with the factory Performance Exhaust, for $67.6k. Loud, few extra HP, leather seats, power everything, 10 speaker Bose audio, remote start, etc... What else do you need in a sports car?

I like the fact they’ve removed/diminished that clamshell affect on the sides and hood and otherwise softened some of the hard edges. IMHO the 2024 looks way better than earlier models.

I have a 29k Mazda and it has adaptive cruise control. It's disrespectful for any car over 30k to not have those features less than cars have.

Just got my 1lt and love it, more car then others and love driving it too.
