Xenon is better on the road.

Xenon's all day. To me, LED's are gimmicks (for headlights at least). Maybe the fancy LED Matrix Laser ones are ok.

The beam pattern (shadow effects) depends on the projector used. In my Facelift W204 I didn’t see any difference in beam pattern, I got some Bullvision D1S LED and they are great. But that’s just my opinion. I get why people like Xenon, I used to have Osram CBI in my old car and they were good, they would light up the road for miles, the only issue was they were more yellow than a white colour and massively over priced!

The thing that concerns me is do the led bulbs heat? Do they heat more then the HID in wich way I am risking of damaging the headlight, lens or something else??

And about durability, how much does the LED last?

The only benefit I see in led is not fighting with ballests. A properly installed quality hid kit looks much better and provides more coverage.

На мой субъективный..., ксенон помягче светит, приятнее глазу, заливка равномернее. Диод даёт много контраста, утомляет. Интересно увидеть сравнение лазера с ксеноном.

as a driver i prefer led, but as an oncoming traffic i prefer people to drive with just parking light

LED majú jasnejšie ohnisko v strede vozovky (kde to až tak nepotrebujem - práve naopak, robí to zle protiidúcim vodičom najmä vtedy, ak sa namontujú na vyššie auto), ale to je všetko. Na pravom kraji až tak výrazne lepšie nesvietia. Mám to odskúšané aj na svojom aute. HID má stále lepší patern, pretože výbojka svieti do všetkých strán. Najlepšou cestou je mať projektory v perfektnom stave a kvalitné nevysvietené výbojky. A nie je treba tým pádom vymýšľať. Auto svieti úplne dostačujúco a na STK nebudú robiť problémy. Navyše LED má plný jas len prvých pár minút. Po hodine je schopná stratiť 15-50% svojho jasu.

Это не led, а шляпа! Надо ставить не лампы в непонятно какие отражатели из-под галогена, а bi-led модули! Вот тогда и сравнивать, а точнее уже нечего сравнивать будет, т.к. ксенон будет хуже!

Хороший ксенон лучше дает света

vyzkoušel jsem LED Osram 6000k, a už nechci LED žárovky, nepříjemně to oslňuje než svítí. A to nemluvím o protijedoucích autech s těmito světly.. strašně dlouho si oči opět zvykají...

Honestly, I prefer Xenon lights, the LEDs light looks somewhat cleaner but I find that theyre too strong at blinding for oncoming traffic:/

Personally i will not change my 4300k xenons in projectors for no led bulb, no hot spot for leds , they produce much less light when warm after some time , loose brightness over time much more than any xenon , leds produce only 6000k , they arent good for fog or heavy rain from the other hand the only disadvantage of xenon is the faster headlight decaying over time

Clasic lamp is top, have red light...new led have blue and human eyes they are most sensitive to red light, not blue. you can see what you illuminate, but not further than before. and you dazzle everyone around.

It seems that LED light is more spread but laks slighted range, while Xenon has a better far away vision, but lacks illumination sideways.

In a xeno conversion, you should use mono led bulb

Xenon shines much more evenly. The LEDs have a flare right in the center, which dazzles the eyes and impairs night vision. The uniformity of light is a very important parameter, which is better for xenon. Thanks for the video, it shows everything clearly.
