hi. great videos. i tried buying that guitar but unable to get it in Canada or even shipped
to Canada..
Other than enjoying some good guitar blues from the likes of Tab Benoit, Melvin Taylor, and of course, the great Stevie Ray Vaughan, I know next to nothing about guitars, but I found this to be very interesting. Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat stuff, I hate guitar snobs
ОтветитьNo, it sounded in the first video like Runaway by Del Shannon.
Ответитьlook like a replica of a Carlos Santana guitar.
ОтветитьIt does sound amazing ,I must admit !
ОтветитьAMAZON SAYS THEY WON'T SHIP THIS GUITAR TO USA? SIGH.
ОтветитьI've just came across Your channel, and your previous video on this guitar fascinated me to watch your second video on this make. I decided to subscribe when I watched your video on you being threatened by a company who made or is making guitars, and is trying to have you be who you are not. Once I watched that video I immediately subscribed. I wish you the absolute best.
ОтветитьI’ve been playing for 58 years and enjoy customizing inexpensive guitars, first thing to go are tuners then the plastic nut strings are a given then fret job pick ups depend on if it goes in my collection I really enjoy watching your videos
Keep On Picking Great stuff 👍🏼
When i was young i bought cheap guitars 50 plus of playing i send the cash on high end guitars.
ОтветитьDunno if you read this but if you wonder why the pickups have a different timbre sometimes it is simply the placement. On a Fender they are placed under a specific harmonic node, this is what some guitars get wrong. Tele neck pup vs strat neck pup is a good example. A few mm offset under a different node. Measure from 12 fret (half of string length on the 25.5 inch scale) to the bridge pup position to see what I mean.
ОтветитьWhich guitar would you recommend between this one with replaced strings and a Yamaha Pacifica 012 for a first approach to this instrument? Tnx a lot
ОтветитьAll guitars were cheap at one point.
ОтветитьI am so pleased by this video (and the first one), as i own the very same guitar, but with another finish. I wasn't really sure, if i was getting a price-worthy item, as i am not an expert in Guitar Tech. So, thanks a lot, although this video is a few month old when i comment it..
ОтветитьI rarely watch videos like this, but the 1st video sucked me into this one. Your explaination and process is really great. Ive been a luthier for 40 years and enjoyed these 2 videos. Great job, and that tone was really Animalistic👍🏼
ОтветитьAfter all of this - you may as well have bought a new guitar!
Ответитьthat fretboard looks like strips of bark from a pile of leaves held together with elmers glue
ОтветитьI'd love to see temu guitar reviews
ОтветитьI BOUTGH a fazly almost the same a tremo and everything aand same delivery the thing is i added slinky custom instead but i dident do anything else to it and it became my bb i also own a gibson body type guitar with raydon neck making it neck heavy just a smige just how i like it anyway love the content now i got a tremolo guitar and a non tremolo guitar with is great ngl it calms me knowing i can just swith it up KEEP UP THE AWSOME CONTENT
<3
im sold, i will definetly buy this one. tysm for these reviews
ОтветитьSometimes a minimalist upgrade is the best upgrade, did that to a used peavey Reactor and now it stays in tune and sounds awesome.
ОтветитьHilton Valentine played the guitar part on "The House of the Rising Sun" on a Gretsch Tennessean; If you wanted to buy one now it would cost you about £4,000, or $5,000 - hardly a cheap guitar. Chet Atkins played one... The current equivalent is the Gretsch Tennnessee Rose Electrotone, £2,100 new - still not a cheap guitar.
ОтветитьMy guitar sounds nothing like that. But it is a classical guitar, so that's a good thing.
ОтветитьI like this guitar, the color of body and pickguard is very nice and uncommon on cheap guitars of others well known brands..the sound is good, it's a vintage sounding strat with a very hard rock finishing... I'm going to buy one 😬
ОтветитьDid you not have to lower the nut after doing the frets?
ОтветитьI've dabbled with guitar a little over the years but I'm no guitarist and wouldn't even call myself an amateur really, I still find guitars fascinating and I've been toying with the idea of trying to learn a bit more. This video was really entertaining and I'm now considering getting one of these to play with since the financial barrier for entry is so low. I subbed to the channel, thanks for the video!
ОтветитьI want one but Amazon-Euro will not ship to the U.S.
ОтветитьGood show but... when you mentioned using that notched straight edge to set the neck straight, didn't you leave off the part about actually adjusting the truss rod? If you're going to remove the strings and level the frets, you've got to adjust the truss rod for a level fretboard, which of course will be adjusted again when you put strings back on it.
ОтветитьI searched everywhere for this thing. Apparently only available in the UK.
ОтветитьI don't think ive ever seen a better in video ad. It was just a natural part of the video! Bravo!
ОтветитьI love the satin finish on the body. It is a great looking guitar
ОтветитьI KNEW I HEARD HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN! I was about to comment what that sounded like and then you said something LOL. Love your videos. I recently bought a Fender Telecaster Custom and am so hyped to learn!
ОтветитьStew mac is about 30 minutes from my home!!!
ОтветитьVery good. Clear audio, well shot and edited plus entertaining
Well done Andy
Pete Woodroffe Music UK
I'm amazed!
ОтветитьI'm curious if changing out the pots with more expensive ones would affect the sound...
ОтветитьLubed up the nut. Ah, yes, gotta lube them nuts up! 😅
ОтветитьDarn, they don't ship to the USA.
Ответитьi really love that matte finish.
and i don't think i'd change those pickups... the bridge has that unique tinny sound and the neck is really pretty nicely warm.
What make and model is this guitar and where can i get it please
Ответитьit won't let me buy it its only for Germany, I'm in the states 😥
ОтветитьThe real question is, would a second one yield the same result, it would be great to know if it was a fluke.
ОтветитьI don’t know anything about guitars. Can’t play, can’t tell a good one from a bad, but…
I watched these two episodes about this guitar and I found it very satisfying and interesting.
One of my regrets is that I never learned how to play any instrument.
I hate that headstock ! But that guitar sounds Amazing. Sounds better than the Fender.
Ответитьi know I'm late to this but your are fuckin killing me with the pickguard film brother
ОтветитьDoes my guitar do that? No I don't own a guitar yet. but i will soon
ОтветитьThank God for removing the protective film. That triggered me because I wanted to see the guitar in its full beauty from the start.
