I actually love that Halo game creators chose a liturgical music style in Gregorian for the theme. As Eastern Orthodox I tend to prefer Slavonic/Byzantine style chanting, but the Gregorian is beautiful in its own respects. This is the kind of music I hear when Mandalorians bathe in the living waters, when they take the creed, etc. More sci-fi needs to incorporate liturgics into their music tracks. Especially around the religious parts of the story lines
