Garden Update for May 1, 2024

Sorry this is a long one. I’m thinking during this growing season maybe I should do updates weekly. I hope your garden is underway if you plan on having one. With the price of groceries, gardens make a huge difference on your budget. You don’t need raised beds or fancy soil. In most parts of the U.S. your soil will support a tomato plant or a few beans. If you’ve never tried growing anything, start off small with just a few plants. Add black cow or something like it if your soil is really poor. Ask questions, water when needed and enjoy getting your hands dirty.
