Considering who the main audience for guides like this are (usually older people and low skill players) it really is a pretty decent guide. The few quirks are of course funny, but im amazed that its still on target for the important stuff.

i remember the first time I discovered the Dark Souls community online. I'd just finished a ball-bustingly difficult run-through of of the single hardest game in the series, Dark Souls 2; I logged onto Reddit only to find a bunch of assholes talking about how easy it was while screeching at people to "git gud". Souls PVP has never appealed to me, anyway, so I just returned to my single player experiences in DS3 and Elden Ring, happily continuing to ignore all of you.

Side note? I only found out about the ADP stat a few months ago after several very stocky completions of the game. It's possible that I now hate my favorite Souls game and love you guys. Worth the trade.

I had no clue about stormruler until I saw a summon use it. So I carefully scavenged the room and found it. It's actually very hidden, and you've been fighting head on the entire game besides one niche boss (Literally Yhorm.).
This was years ago but I definitely tried to just kill him normally at first.
