Bless you Summoning Salt...So many hours of amazing entertainment from you, and to see this video of you showcasing yourself. You are loved by many. :)
ОтветитьMust of learned the pattern before even tried I bet everything on that
ОтветитьSuch an amazing documentary style vid
So compelling
Much better then fist full of quarters
You have a golden egg here
I’ve seen other vids
This is your best
There is a magic here that is completely you
This is such a beautiful human story
I can’t wait to see what comes out of your mind after this
It really seems like fighting through doubt and dedication are your biggest weapons.
But more than anything, you need someone to push you
Someone in the community on the record hunt against you and with you
a new Summoning Salt video???! It really is christmas.
ОтветитьI'd love if you did a video on F-Zero (SNES) speedruns and how much the landscape has changed since the release of F-Zero 99.
ОтветитьSoo, what you're saying is... you're secretly Matt Turk? 😂😊😁
ОтветитьI finally got round to watching this today, what a great christmas present! I have no ball in the game as far as speedrunning goes, but watching a video of my favourite speedrunning commentator be a boss was excellent. Kinda surprised no Don2 strats were discovered though after hearing about it a lot.
ОтветитьWe knew the sequel was in the works for awhile… That Tyson time is just good.
I wonder who got banned recently… 👀
Seeing this video again brought me back as an early subscriber and watcher of watching the first world record run history again.
ОтветитьA speed run starts on the first input frame, and ends on the last input frame. Period. This is the one universal rule that applies to every game in every category. None of the runs for Punch-Out are valid, because they ignore this rule and try and change the rule arbitrarily.
Ответить2016 was the best year we've had by a mile since '08 and before - no shocker you thrived during
ОтветитьTook me 3 days to watch this. Totally worth it!! Amazing video!!!
ОтветитьI wouldn’t be surprised at this point if summoning salt was secretly Matt turk himself
ОтветитьYou know it's a good millennia when summoning salt uploads
ОтветитьSuch an epic gaming story
ОтветитьI thought this thing was over more times than The Lord of the Rings
ОтветитьLegend ⭐
ОтветитьThis would rank in the top three if it were an ESPN 30 for 30. Unfucking believably bad ass documentary.
ОтветитьOn July 8th, Tyson gave it up 🤣🤣
Ответитьnow beat mike tyson in real life
ОтветитьI watched this video over the past few days and it was a complete joy. Great job on the record and your determination is crazy. Wish you a merry christmas and may the new year give even more speedrunning joy!
ОтветитьThis video is the single most well earned humble brag ever. Amazing work as always, SummoningSalt.
ОтветитьThat twist is equivalent to the defunctland shapeland twist in my mind. Congrats on the huge accomplishment!!
ОтветитьIt's actually nice that this turned into a more personal story, even if it did take me a few days longer to watch it than your other videos. I'm really hoping that KThree or someone else can beat your record, because somehow I feel like that would make you happy. :)
Ответитьi think even harder is making a 2 hour video about this, with all the clips. good stuff!
ОтветитьYour dedication to such an ultimately pointless, RNG-laden task is astonishing.
ОтветитьTo think I paid nearly $100 to take my family to see AQUAMAN 2 when we could’ve spent the same time watching the best feature presentation of the year right here for free!
Ответитьmight be a stupid question, but whats the main difference(s) of segmented vs unsegmented runs? i assume its more stressful to play everything in one go and that affects play quality, but besides that is there any difference?
ОтветитьNot mentioned here is that Summoning Salt also holds the record on:
Mr Sandman (individual fight) (by less than half a second)
Another World Circuit (a special mode) (by more than 15 seconds)
RTA (the real-time clock count of the full run) (by 2 seconds)
90 minute challenge (you have 90 minutes to compile the best possible times in all fights) (by just under 8 seconds)
Blindfolded (by two goddamn minutes)
Mike Tyson (individual fight) (by 5 goddamn seconds)
He is also tied for first on a variety of other individual fights (for example, tied with 17 others on King Hippo).
I wonder who that banned 4th place runner is,lol.
ОтветитьLegend
ОтветитьHey, I don't know anything about speed running or the culture, but I deeply enjoyed the content.
Ответить5 ads in 20 minutes. Had to stop watching. Damn!
ОтветитьSalt- this was so good. Good lord this was good.
Ответитьwhy does sinister1 have a fortnite accent haha
ОтветитьWhat’s that song at the start?
ОтветитьS+ content. Thank you
ОтветитьThat "it was me" hit different.
