We still do this
ОтветитьThat TV with the chief is offencive, the TV has a BLACK TUBE !
ОтветитьI'm a dyed-in-the-wool Gen-Xer (b.1967). All of these would be some level of inappropriate today. They weren't to me then, but they are to me now.
That's a good thing, because we live in the future. Sorry we got enlightenment instead of jet packs, but let's face it, jet packs would be a traffic nightmare anyway.
Ever notice how Al Jolson and the movie Soul Man are politically incorrect but the movie White Chicks isn’t. 🙄
ОтветитьBack when people weren’t sensitive about everything.
ОтветитьAm I supposed to be offended or shocked?
ОтветитьI honestly don't see anything wrong with these types of commercials because I grew up around that time when these commercials aired.
ОтветитьAhhahahahahahahahahahahhahahaheleleueueueelelelelele! This is a lovely room of death.
ОтветитьIf a man sexualizes a woman then it's offensive, but if she sexualizes herself even moreso then it's perfectly fine. Got it.
ОтветитьMost of these I don't even see the 'political incorrectness'. The ones with the women in bikinis especially.
ОтветитьWhere can I buy real remons??
Ответитьwhats a VCR?
ОтветитьDang that's Graham Green on the Toshiba commercial.
ОтветитьMan, come on that first one was funny.
ОтветитьHoly crap, Graham Greene in that Toshiba commercial. I wonder what he thinks of it today.
ОтветитьHalf of this I have no idea what people would find offensive about.
ОтветитьBack then people weren't crybabies like they are now
ОтветитьThat JVC one. Wow.
ОтветитьMost offensive thing is that infringement disclaimer on the portable video tape recorder. Seems the commercial may have aired before it was firmly ruled that taping programs off of TV was legal (iirc that ruling happened in 84).
ОтветитьI remember every one of these commercials. For all the rhetoric about them being inappropriate, sexist or racist...i see and hear the same things now in ads just worded differently. In fact, for all the virtue signalling nothing has changed and it's even worse in some areas. Especially with racism from other nations that used to be considered 'minorities'.
ОтветитьAre you sure some of these are from the 80s and not the 70s?
ОтветитьWhen does the politically incorrect part start? Is there a part two or something?
ОтветитьThis is the good days of America when it wasn't filled with a bunch of pussies and fucking men that want to be women
ОтветитьOnly a busybody, a pussy and an always offended about something wimp would be upset over these.
ОтветитьBack when tv commercials were funny
ОтветитьNot offended. Then again, im not a brainwashed, “progressive”, p u s s y.
ОтветитьSome of these are pretty True though..m
Ответитьlots o people talking about the good ole days when they didn't have to be considerate of other people. talking about political correctness like it didn't arise as a result of all the horrible shit america did to minorities. its funny how certain generations take the message of, "we should be kinder to each other" as an offence, while complaining about other people getting offended at racist and misogynist nonsense.
ОтветитьWhat's policy incorrect about it?
ОтветитьI never heard of Molson Gold.
Ответитьnothing incorrect, only every thing is showed like as is in the reality
ОтветитьI love how that guy put that fire out by blowing on it. Lol
ОтветитьWhy politically incorrect advertising? In my opinion, everything is quite correct, a little caricatured in places, but overall as it is.
ОтветитьHoly shit, that's Graham Greene. Exploitive!
ОтветитьThe good ole days ❤
Ответитьwatching all of these one after each other makes it look like a GTA parody
ОтветитьThe last one😂
ОтветитьHoly sh*#
ОтветитьThe lemon on is the most offensive
ОтветитьWhen you insult a persons, intelligence or sensibilities, they remember it. These commercials are a little bit insulting at a certain level and you remember it.
ОтветитьWhat was so offensive about the fur coat commercial???
ОтветитьThat blind guy should have squeezed some 🍋🍋
ОтветитьWe gotta concel provincial!
ОтветитьThe only thing wrong with these commercials is that they went away. Today's hyper-sensitive woke mindset is what's creepy...
ОтветитьSome of these were nowhere near offensive. But when you have a generation Calling maple syrup and Dr. Seuss racist what can you expect
ОтветитьBack before the woke pussy generation
ОтветитьEvery single one, I'm like "where's the offensive... Oh, there it is."🤣
Ответить
