Thanks for watching ✌
Vietnam was an amazing adventure full of ups and downs but overall even with making mistakes I still had a blast!
I also learnt from the previous video about another mistake I made, if you want to experience the lush green delta systems then don't go to Can Tho like I did, instead go to Ben Tre which is nearer to Saigon.
I apologies if people got upset by that video, it was my mistake and I will come back to Southern Vietnam one day to make up for that mistake and do that area justice!
LOTS OF LOVE and THANK YOU for 100K ❤
Hi Paddy!
I saw a lot of nice Droneshots in yout video. Did you get a permittion or how do you manage to fly your drone in vietnam. Or did you just "risk it"?
Thanks and greetings from germany!
Have only done one trip to Vietnam, but totally agree, see less do more.
ОтветитьI agree….i found it difficult to find cold beer 😭😭 ended up not bothering.
ОтветитьVery very good one indeed .
Ответитьwhy do I feel unexcited about going now..... lol.....
ОтветитьYou can park a bike anywhere , if it's not a shop you're going into you can park there ,and 90% of shops have a a space to put a bike
ОтветитьEnglish guy talking about quality food is not a very reliable source, isn't it? OK, half kidding... :D
ОтветитьHello! how were you able to ride a motorcycle? looking up information, I found that you need a license from VN to ride. They have road blocks to stop random riders and may fine you or take you to the station. this is where i worry if i rent one and ride illegally.
ОтветитьPlanning my first visit to Vietnam your information was verry helpfull, thanks😊
ОтветитьVietnamese food it's A MA ZING!
ОтветитьI just returned from a Vietnam trip and I was beyond pleasantly surprised.
The people of Vietnam
Kind helpful courteous
The food perfectly pan Asian
The restaurants in cities amazingly good and well priced.
The hotels all over comfortable and warm with great bf. ( please note I decided four star) like he said
Why not splurge
Vietnam is beautiful and has so much to offer
Luckily it’s just a four hour flight away.
Thanks for the tips on the north
Great video 👌👌👍👍👍
All the things in this video, i would not call them mistakes, but more like impressions and learnings. The only real mistake is (in my opinion) you compare Vietnam way to much with Thailand;) they are both very unique…..ok maybe 2 mistakes: did he really say tabasco in Vietnam?!?!?🤣
Still i enjoyed your Video very much😉

ОтветитьHi Paddy;
Thank you for your useful videos about Vietnam. I am going through all of them, as I am planning a month's trip later this year.
Maybe I missed it, but which months were you there?
The food Situation i unterstand 100%
ОтветитьI see you have some drone footage. Is it easy to bring a drone and fly in Vietnam?
ОтветитьThailand is better by far.
ОтветитьI’m planning for a trip in northern Vietnam, and I understood that renting and riding a bike is illegal for tourists (without an at least 3-month permit). Am I correct to assume that almost every traveler going there and riding is doing it without license?
ОтветитьI think it would have been nice if you put a disclaimer that these are all your own experiences and generalized of course. Especially when talking about the food and when you said " ppl in thailand are less likely to steal". I guess these are highly subjective
ОтветитьGreat advice. Thank you for sharing.
Ответитьthank you, it s soo helpful
ОтветитьThanks!
I'm currently planning my trip to Vietnam and this video really was extremely useful. Now I'm going to see all of them 😅
The second coming of Michael J. Fox. Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьThis video is not at all helpful in any way....sad for the maker 20 mins wasted
ОтветитьWhy start South then north?
ОтветитьThank you very much...good video with helpful information!
ОтветитьVery helpful video
Can you advice me, a 60 yrs man looking for a compatible companion in a woman, which is a better place? Vietnam, Phillipines or Thailand
Am quite well off n am divorced for over 10 yrs
Thank you! Can I share my itenerary and get some perspective?
Ответитьthey will give you ice with your beer, but refrigerated beer is not common. dont eat in tourist areas (bad food, expensive). ask for fresh chili, better than the paste if they have it.
ОтветитьSounds like a nice trip😊
Ответить"See less. Experience more." Gotcha! Great video. thank you.
ОтветитьI gave up on this video after 8mins and 30s.
ОтветитьDont get me wrong, Im originally from the UK as well, but seriously, no wonder the brits are known as being whingers and if they cant get English food everywhere, then the food is ship. Even in OZ having reloes (relatives) come and visit us, they prefer Spain as it serve English food. FFS....
ОтветитьDUDE You are so out of touch, I had NO PROBLEM at all getting cold beers in Hanoi.... Even other places in the North...
ОтветитьPaddY, 8 weeks IS NOT EPIC....
ОтветитьDon't put yourself down, I can be myself in your crazy adventures!
ОтветитьOk. Viet convenience stores are Tap Hoa. Literally every street. If they have power get a cold drink. Locals prefer ice/everywhere. Just ask ( word for ice is Da- learn it)Just how it is. OMG- Viet cuisine is HUGE. 2 years and scratching surface.
Vietnam Landscape is rugged. I have beach to my right - Nha Trang. I cycle 2km and climb a mountain waterfall. He didn’t have local help- should have got some-just got tiniest taste. Come - I could show you a ton.
Not cold beer 🤣🤣🤣 . Guys, who could expect to see a German reality in Vietnam. Thanks God is a difrent unique place with difrent culture and that is the beauty and hopfully will never become just a cheap copy of the Western culture and world . I wouldn't expect at all beer there , even . But anyway , thank you for the advises
ОтветитьHi Paddy, just found your vlogs & I must say really insightful. I'm travelling to SE Asia from Dec to April & looking to hit Vietnam (North) around Feb. You stayed for 8 weeks, can I ask how they are with the VISAs, & what type did you get regards an 8 week stay? Any advice grateful. Mitch
ОтветитьLoved your Vietnam advice! We watched your videos before we went and learned a lot. We just got back from a north to south Vietnam trip 🎉 and it was amazing
ОтветитьCan you suggest the safest places to go in vietnam????
ОтветитьNot to correct you, but Taiwan has 7-11’s all over the country they can be found almost everywhere from major cities to smaller towns.
ОтветитьHow can you not go to Da Lat and go to Nha Trang? They are next to each other (basically)
Especially using your own words; "when are you going to be here in this part of the world again?"
This man is a foreignor who lives as a foreignor life in these countries.
He does zero to adapt
Totally wrong about the food. I never eat banh mi because the food is so awesome.
I think this man is a guy who, only stays in foreignor only areas. He is used to only eating foreignor area.
I would suspect he hasnt spent any time learning Vietnamese or Thai language. He may not have local friends or local girlfriend
LMAO this dude said Vietnam isn’t a foodie destination. Lost all credibility. Maybe it’s because you don’t know a thing about the culture and the foods my guy 💀💀
ОтветитьThank you so much Paddy, I am really enjoying all of your videos, You are doing am amazing job providing us all your experience. I'm actually heading to Vietnam in Feb 2024 and would be really nice to catch up with you in person. Really appreciate your effort. Thanks Mate
