Heres the thing about one piece.... its fine, but its NOWHERE near as good as people say, but when something has been going for 20 years people are Stockholmed into loving it so they either dont feel like theybhave wasted their time, or because they dont know a world without it (DBZ has the same issue). Demon Slayer as a series is such a gem. Comes in, encapsulates everything great in Shonen with genuinely great emotional storytelling, then has the decency to end without going too long.

1. CSM is gore~bloodlust~disgusting~ I was scared away by it just from reading the manga when i am young... so no way i am going to invest in anime...
2. DS amazing animation and using of emotion. 200 % credit to ufotable! But it was so predictable that i never finish the anime.
3. MHA sounds like anime version of avengers~~ i thought it is american comic, ahahahhah!!! Again generic.

I really loved act age, it was a beautiful manga with a really interesting plot. I remember wating every week for the new chapter. When i found out that it had been dropped, i was gutted and then i found out the reason why it was dropped and i was Disgusted.
Just tragic, the manga had a very bright future.

Not sure how well-suited 'Time Paradox Ghostwriter' is to long-running serialization, but it's an awesome premise for a movie or Mini-Series.

I'd just like to point out, while it's been a few years since I was a "hardcore" One Piece fan, OP isn't immortal.

The last time I was incredibly invested in the series, both Oda and his editors were making statements that OP was FAR closer than anyone could imagine at the time. While I don't remember the exact time frame anymore, but I think it was 5-7ish years from completion.

While the majority of us in the fandom cried bullshit, ultimately the message was clear, Wano is the beginning of the end of OP. While the time frame at the time is still sketchy at best, there were clues at the time that Oda was in fact preparing for the inevitable end of OP. I suspect that OP will likely end far sooner than most casual fans realize.

I never saw One Piece as a god, more as a peak of the manga mountain other mangas should strive to reach and surpass

So glad Chainsaw Man and Demon Slayer called it quits before too long. I gotta say, I hate the long winded aspects of shit like One Piece, even if I still enjoy seeing the continuation of such projects. I just hope this year won't make corporate strengthen their hold on artists.

The Act Age part is just heartbreaking. The story and art was sooo good, got me sobbing just by the first arc. And when she used her past trauma to act as a villain in later arc, I just want to reach to the screen and hug her ;-; too bad that the writer is yikes
