Nice haul. You are getting more and more oncidium types. 😀 Good to know you finally have a Den Victoria Reginae.
ОтветитьCongratulations, Roger! You finally got a good and "real" victoria-regina!
ОтветитьThanks for the nursery tours!
We dont have many and none that are open...living vicariously🌺
The yellow one looks like Cambria Irish Mist, we had those in Chelsea last year.
ОтветитьTo me you yellow one looks like an Irish Mist, fairly common lovely plant in NZ
ОтветитьI have the yellow one, easy rebloomer and the flowers last for weeks.
ОтветитьWoohoo! Congrats! Finally you got your victoria reginae. Why would you rather mount it than leaving it in a pot?
ОтветитьLovely haul. The Dendrobium victoria-reginae looks really, really nice and at that price a real steal. I have been meaning to order a Brassia verrucosa from them. I will have to go on their site and see what else they have.
ОтветитьGreat choices.👍
ОтветитьNice haul! I have a Miltonia spectabilis and it’s one of my favourites, different colour from yours obviously, but both are beautiful.
The oncidium is really cool.
Lovely collection Roger, and so delighted you’ve finally got you Victoria Regine!
ОтветитьNice species Miltonia - so happy that you selected the larger plant! Like the new additions to your collection. Enjoyed your video.
ОтветитьLove your videos love watching them. So happy you finally got the plant you were after. Please go to the nursery! (whats the most frgrant orchid in your opinion?) (and hello from Australia)
ОтветитьSo happy you got finally got the Victoria regina. Looking forward to seeing it bloom for you.
ОтветитьOmg!!! Your Dendrobium Victoria Regina is big!!! For what I have sewn for sale online over here they are really small. You are very lucky to have it! Well done!!! Great bundle you got!
ОтветитьThanks for the tour of Burnhams
ОтветитьNice looking plants 👍 enjoy them
ОтветитьNice picks Roger. I am so lucky to live close by Inca Orchids. Have visited them a couble of times, nice place. I have a similar yellow Odontoglossum ( label say), i won at a orchid society meeting.
ОтветитьLove your orchid haul.
ОтветитьLove all your new purchases! So happy for you getting your victoria Regina the real thing finally!!
ОтветитьCongrats on finally getting the victorae-reginae and a nice looking one 🙂
Ответитьso glad you finally got nice piece of Den.v-r . It could still flower and produce a new growth(s) this year. mine had little break. Just finishing last couple of flowers from Spring but already pushing new flower spikes for autumn show. On mine a new growths start growing usually beginning of winter. Good luck.
That Miltonia regnellii goes on my wish list if its flowers are really orange to spicy scented.
Is that Cambria Irish Mist scented at all?
Happy growing
Happy you got your Victoria Rigina. Nice choice of orchids, have fun growing them. 🤗
ОтветитьI see a few people have commented that the yellow one looks like "Irish Mist", which is obviously a trade name. The hybrid that is registered as Oncidium Irish Mist is completely different, it is like a green Sharry Baby (if mine would ever bloom, I'd be thrilled). As for your "Irish Mist" it is certainly similar to Odontioda (Oncidopsis) Yellow Parade, though the petals and sepals are not as rounded. I'd suspect the parentage is similar, which means there is a lot of Oncidium alexandrae (Odm crispum) and spectatissimum in it, which means cool and shady makes it a happy lady.
ОтветитьLooking forward to seeing the victoria-regina in bloom. You have gotten me so curious do to the orchid with the wrong label. Those are a bunch of cuties in your purchase. All nice orchids. Have a great day.
ОтветитьVery nice!! I hates those animals!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьMy eyes are drawn to that color combo on any orchid. Very very pretty.
ОтветитьI tried to figure out what the yellow red splotchy one was for SO long, luckily the comments seem to have provided an ID for me. Thanks for that! :-D
ОтветитьYes, I knew that yellow oncidium was going home with you. Glad you found a nice looking Reginae. Thank you for sharing. Good luck with your new babies.
