I suck at color, I can't pick the right colors, even if my sketch already looks great the second i put colors in it looks so ugly 😭
Ответитьterimakasih sensei niro saya dari indonesia, saya sangat bersyukur bisa melihat vidio anda
Ответить❤
ОтветитьSorry if this is super late, but do you have a link to the g-pen/ other brushes you've mentioned? Your art is inspirational and you motivate me to keep goin!
ОтветитьAs an artist I don't think using AI for reference is bad, since it's not reselling the art, and is truly just a distillation of preexisting artists, simplifying the learning process.
Ответитьusing ai as a tool or ref is totally valid.
ОтветитьI do the same AI art reference thing! I always feel so judged for it 😭 but i do it by blocking out shapes, screenshooting it, and running it through an AI to see what it comes up with, that way I can kind of convince myself that I’m not stealing other people’s art and my own touch of creativity is still in there
ОтветитьI'm very grateful seeing that color blending stuff, i'm newbies on digital art, seeing this really useful, thanks !!!
ОтветитьОп, наконец нашел видос где разбираются слои. Спасибки
ОтветитьTechnically AI doesn't steal. It learns from references like we do. Most ppl have stolen profile pictures tho so and I use AI too to train
ОтветитьCould you share what books or materials did you use in the very start to learn the basics and fundamentals?
ОтветитьI'm glad to hear you found the information helpful! As you explore different art styles and techniques, how do you decide which approach to use for a particular illustration?
ОтветитьYou sound like live action Luffy
ОтветитьTHANK YOU. I’ve been looking for a video on Layers and how to use “fancy” stuff like overlays etc. like I just want to learn how to color digitally, but when I search coloring for digital art it’s just color theory which I don’t need cuz I already know 😭
ОтветитьVery good tutorial
ОтветитьReally cool to see someone else's experimental process in terms of coloring! (taking notes) 🧐
Something I'd like to to add is, using the tonal correction tools from the edit menu are quite destructive as you can't undo or change them on the fly if needed later (unless you are decisive and don't other-think lol). For the indecisive folks, a solution for that is using correction layers 🤌❤🔥
In the layers panel, right click on any layer that you want to the tonal correction tool to sit on top of and hover on (New Correction Layer) then choose which type you want to add.
It's quite helpful as (for example,) you can add a gradient map then after choosing which map you want the layer is created, you then can double click on the small icon that appears on the right corner of the correction layer in the layer panel and it'll bring the gradient maps again and you can change or choose an entire different map (very helpful!).
Same goes for levels or any other tonal tool, you can go back and change and tweak things after you've made the layer.
It's a more non-destructive workflow. It's also convenient as these correction layers are actual layers so you can play with blending modes and the opacity to layer more than one type of correction to get different results and experiment. The correction layers can also clip onto other layers too 🤌
I like your makima painting! Solid work 😄
ОтветитьHey cool drawing! It's nice to see what you're doing.
Ответитьyeah if this is ai art rn, illustrators are done for
Ответитьso back when i started out drawing all the way back in 2013 i used to study from anime screencaps. they looked great to me at the time but little did i know the anatomy was severely flawed and thats what i saw several years later when i looked back at my old anime reference images. Same thing with the ai images. they might look fine to you now but for one they've got very inconsistent lighting and cant do accurate reflections at all. they often dynt know how to transition between certain fat / muscle insertions on the body etc so be careful when studying from them.
ОтветитьGosh this was hella insightful😳😭finally I understand the workflows and a bit of techniques thank u sm😭🤍🥺
ОтветитьThanks for the tips mate
Ответитьyou are a godsend
ОтветитьSubsribed!... Nice tutorial. Love your style
ОтветитьYou don't understand how much this helped me since others advices don't really clicked w me, tysm!
ОтветитьU su uretagoyea losre u ko u smmithi u erta
ОтветитьGreat viewpoint on AI. Keep doing what you’re doing ❤
ОтветитьReally liked your viewpoints on AI generated images and wholly agree!! I've been seeing your videos pop a lot in my reccommended and all of them are really enjoyable!
ОтветитьIm one of those people that simultaneously hate ai art, but don’t mind when artists make use of it for their art. My logic in this is that the ai is being used as a tool where you are in control and can make your own decisions, unlike where someone just enters a prompt and let the ai take over everything.
Ответитьyou can tell me what blush line and paint color you use ? i really need it more
The way you draw face shape + eyes is really good. I'm trying to learn how to draw this shape, but it comes out very triangular and awkward when I do it. I suspect there's a lot of nuance to the way you bend the cheek lines that I'm not understanding yet. Thanks for the tutorial. One thing I don't understand - you apply multiply shadow to the entire piece, and then erase it? Or do you apply multiply but what looks like 'erased multiply' is in fact another blending mode painted over the multiply?
ОтветитьBlending modes can be difficult and you might feel like you need to remember them all but realize blending modes just change the color of things. They are quick color changes rather than manually changing out colors for certain affects aka color picking. Thats the best thing about learning color theory is all the cool art you look up to can be done by simply choosing the right color. IMO the better your color picking skills are the easier it is to paint in general.
ОтветитьI LOVE YOUR WORK

Ответитьcan u make video speedpaint? I very interseting when see your speedpaint drawing 🤩
ОтветитьDo you use the g-pen as it is, or did you make any changes to it? And thank you for making this video! ❤
ОтветитьHello NIRO
Do you separate multiply layer for each part like face, hair, etc. or just one multiply layer cover the whole image ?
thank you.
Your inspiration is Ilya Kuvshinov?! I absolute love his art and I discovered him when the sing yesterday for me anime came out in 2020. He’s apparently a huge fan of the show and even animated for the anime and drew the illustrations for ED 2 or 4 I forgot. Amazing dude just like you :>
Ответитьthis video is so freaking good, its perfect on what a beginner needs to know! honestly deserves 1mil views
Ответитьyou are honestly one of my favorite artist and your tips are the most helpful and assuring out of all videos out there.
Ответитьthankyou for this amazing tutorial, this help me a lot
ОтветитьReally great video! Thank you
Ответитьthe most clear tutor I've ever seen 😭😭😭

ОтветитьRemember that horrendous automatic color tool in Clip Studio called 'Colorize'? Well, if you utilize Stable Diffusion and ControlNet, you can achieve what this tool was meant to deliver but never quite did, you can actually colorize your drawing. It's not flawless, but it provides solid hints of colors and lighting, especially in a hurry.
But does it yield good results? Well, that depends on the standard you're aiming for. You'll need to adjust values, lighting, and numerous other aspects for the industry standard. However, colorizing using this SD+CN is still quicker than starting from scratch. AI generates lifeless or dull poses and compositions, but it truly shines as a co-pilot for colors.
Pretty based for using AI art for one of the only few good reasons- referencing and improving one's art
(the other only good use of AI art is shitposting)
I use AI references too - I think it’s a really great way to use the technology. I don’t think it matters if your reference is a handful of pics from Pinterest, or an AI generated one - it’s just a reference! I’d HIGHLY recommend AI generating some reference images for anyone with aphantasia. It’ll give you some help with composition, mood, etc.
