No offense but, just a bit of humor here, Tony is starting to look more and more like Colonel Sanders from Kentucky Fried Chicken, perhaps he likes chicken done with the secret formula. I do enjoy his talent and learn allot. But I must say all that picture needs is a cow jumping or maybe a dolphin. Absolutely brilliant knowledge sir.

I thought by stacking multiple images, you reduce noise? Doesn’t look like that happened??

the best decision I took 5 years ago was to abandone Lightroom and move to Capture One Pro.

I'm very new to photography and just the other day was trying to take some pictures of the moon and I really couldn't get them to come out like I wanted, but this tutorial was so good I feel like I now have a plan for what I can try tomorrow, thanks so much!

I think this tutorial is very great but it's just hard for me to convince myself that this is a professional shot when I saw he tried autofocus in the first place and didn't even use a tripod. I mean 800mm but only 1/160 shutter speed with hand holding......

The amount of times I've tried getting shots of the moon with a phone camera is too many. I now have a Canon EOS and just need another lens. Only have the 50mm 1.8 STM.

I’m in the waning moon, using my Sony 14 f1.4 - using the 500 rule, I set my exposure at 2”, I actually got a very bright moon. It sounds like I should speed up my exposure (use ISO 3000, f1.4). would help your advice, Thank you!

You said thus photo was faked in your how to shoot the moon video. You cannot get a infinite focus object with a foreground.

One year later and you are wrong. The galaxi s21 will let you do full auto with a 100x photo of the moon.

Thank you for your tireless inspiration. As always your features are informative and quite helpful as I climb beyond beginner stage, but not all of us are as adept and versed. That said, post processing punctuated with more lay detail will help and the same for the shooting. I am able to feel/follow to a point and then I lose you. Chances are that I need to up the exposure to experience and that I will do. Now, is this a bracketing enterprise for an HDR presentation. I was out early this morning in Tokyo hunting the moon and as it moves quite fast I found myself fumbling with your instruction so for the next run at this I want to be prepared and fully get the gist.
