Well this was a fun circle to complete. I saw you guys first on Trent and Allie, thought it was cool that they knew someone from Ontario...was tickled when you guys passed through Collingwood in one of your first videos I watched. We live 12km outside Collingwood.
So I've been following you for a while. Then I decided to go watch your UK vids...cos Im British. Was completely blown away to find out your first stop in the UK was South Wales (Barry). Im from Newport and lived in the next village to Barry for a number of years. How bizarre that life connects us all in ways we could never imagine.

Hey Bec, not wrong side of the road...lol...
It's to do with 90% of the population being right handed and the original form of transport was horse, you hold the sword in your right hand and ride the horse to the left of each other when fighting.
The RHD vehicle driving on the Left Hand Side of the road is the original norm as BC and Atlantic Provinces were doing prior to the 1920's and Newfoundland prior to 1947, Canada changed due to conforming with the USA.
Henry Ford and Napoleon were both left-handed, Napoleon changed France and forced all other neighbouring European countries to change to LHD so to speak and Henry Ford created the first LHD automobile. I also believe USA and France choose to oppose the British way...lol. It's much easier to get in and out of the RHD vehicle when you're right handed too. I've driven on 6 continents and still prefer RHD due to being a right hander...lol. I love these kind of facts, it's nice to know why things happen.

You need to shop at grocery stores or farmers markets to get good, loose local organic produce.

You are walking all over the rocks ie the mountains that make the dry walls.. Wales has some of the best slate in the world.. And hundreds of beautiful castles..and Snowdon is over 1000m high! You missed so much!

Fun fact Halifax is closer to Liverpool then it is to Vancouver.
