Excellent explaination, I've seen many of your videos.
I used to get vertical bars in SONY 42W700. Unfortunately, the motherboard got short circuited by accident. Before I buy a new universal motherboard, Please let me know if the TCON board voltages can be tested outside the TV by simply giving the 12 V supply to it? maybe if the VGL and VGH lines are leaking...
