Hey Avrin! This is awesome, thanks for sharing! I've been doing cold brew in Mason jars for quite a while. I usually use two tea bags though and I'm thinking I should use your method! It would definitely make if more flavorful.
ОтветитьHiiiiiii avrin
ОтветитьThanks for the break down water to tea bag ratio. I'm going to do this tonight, for iced tomorrow.
ОтветитьI want to cut caffeine, so I start to drink tea.
ОтветитьThanks for these instructions. I like mason jars, too and I've just started drinking cold brew. I definitely think it is smoother, and I've been struggling with the tea to water ration. 3 bags per 4 oz sound like a lot, but I think it will do a good job and I'm going to experiment with that. Also, I have to admire how clean your refrigerator is - but I think you definitely need someone at home to cook for you! LOL!
ОтветитьGlass is best
ОтветитьWell done. Great instructions!
ОтветитьThanks man!
ОтветитьBecause the tea bags soak up some of the water while it's brewing, should additional water be added when the brewing is finished? Also, I've seen some videos that use a French Press and using the plunger to press the tea leaves further. Is that a recommended part of the process?
ОтветитьThis is so much easier than other methods. Thank you for sharing..
ОтветитьThank you i needed some iced tea
ОтветитьHave you ever been T bagged?
ОтветитьDo you specifically have to use cold brew teas or could you use like hot brew teas too?
ОтветитьThat’s a beautiful golden color.
ОтветитьWhat if I want my tea sweet. How and when do I add the sugar?
ОтветитьOne teabag works for me. I started with two.
ОтветитьHot or cold water ?
ОтветитьThank you! It came out great!
ОтветитьCould you add hot water instead of cold - I mean would you get more benefits or flavor and then drink cold the next....wanting to drink more green tea and I think I will if it is cold - just wanting to make sure the benefits are there from cold brew instead of hot...
ОтветитьCold brew tea uses a lot more tea than the traditional method. That can get very pricey.
ОтветитьWhy a lid with no plastic for cold brewing? I use a glass lip with a plastic seal
ОтветитьHave seen many instructions for making tea. At 63, I just started drinking it. Tried your way once and found to to be delicious! Your video on how to was great!! Thanks, have a gallon of water now waiting for the bags tonight!
ОтветитьI just purchased from Amazon the Altura cold brew filter/strainer that firs inside a 64-ounce mason jar. Smaller ones are available also. You can use looseleaf or tea bags in the filter cylinder and then just pull it up when the cold brew is ready. The jar lid can still be screwed on with the filter inside the jar. Thank you for this video.
ОтветитьIt cold or hot water?
Ответить4 cups, 7 bags, 1 and a half cups, 4 bags...for our metric girlies like me. I loved this video! Thank you so MUCH ✌❤🇨🇦 I decided to make some Japanese green tea and this video was so helpful. New subscriber.
ОтветитьHere is another question - Can you mix loose tea say Gunpowder Green Tea with Herbal Tea bags - what combinations would you recommend? I use quart jars so could suggest how much of loose and how bags you would use
ОтветитьI've been Cold Brewing Tea for almost a decade. I kind of did it on a "lark" one day after being diagnose with Type 2 Diabetes some years ago. I was more a fruit juice/energy drinker than sodas. And I got tired of constantly boiling water for an 8oz cup a few times daily. Cold Brewing turned out to be the most FUN and best way to drink teas. Though I do have a tendency to brew up to 24 hours to make the teas a bit stronger. And I love to "mix" various teas too.
It's a great alternative to drinks like Sodas, Fruit Juice, etc.
Especially if you're Diabetic.
Just make sure you don't use any sweeteners.
Great Video.
You just gained a NEW Subscriber.
i love your nice country voice
ОтветитьTea looks weak.
ОтветитьHow many days can this be stored in a fridge and remain fresh??
ОтветитьYikes 1 tea bag per 4oz means 32 tea bags per gallon!
