The reason the police acted was because the vigil stopped being peaceful.
26 police officers were assaulted, punched, kicked & spat on.
The majority were there to show sympathy & support for Sarah's family.
But later that evening a group within this vigil began to deliberately antagonise the police, trying to provoke a reaction.
When the police did react, they achieved their aims & with help from the corrupt media are now crying foul.

I hope the Police will be as tolerant with the anti-Covid “vigil” on the 20th.

Well I only saw police behaving correctly in the face of an initially fairly peaceful (but illegal) "vigil" that then descended into a near riot. Usual story of anti-establishment protesters hi-jacking events.

Those women have put the police e offered lives at risk.
