Literally designed to do that
ОтветитьThe skippers called rick with a silent P.
ОтветитьHobbies are designed to do exactly this. The rudders have a quick release to flip back when they touch. This was intentional
ОтветитьNot a crash at all...a deliberate beaching run....very common.....but the word "crash" is purposefully used as click bait...
ОтветитьCracked hull crack heads
ОтветитьLol yeah 12-15 knots not 40. Lots of old timer J24 racers have stories of running j/24’s up the beach in Florida after the fleet gets hammered by a thunderstorm
ОтветитьI know later that year the boat split in two. It was an older boat the had bought for next to nothing.the hulls were soft to say the least. What will it take ...
ОтветитьSomebody rang the dinner bell or beer bell
ОтветитьNo hobie cat has ever come close to 30 knots
ОтветитьHa ha!! More like 15knots though
ОтветитьIt's a catamaran not a hobie
ОтветитьA hobie is built well enough for this nonsense...just don't make a habit of it..
Ответитьi suggest wheels!
ОтветитьVous avez bien géré 😂😂😂
Ответить10 knots you fool😮 what crap talker
ОтветитьJob security for some one
ОтветитьMax 10 . 40 kn like 75 kmh
ОтветитьWhen you have money to
" sale away "
😂😂
Welcome to Sarasota
Ответить40 knots in what? The mainsheet?
Ответитьthats my kind of stupid.
ОтветитьTry that on a Nacra!
ОтветитьMore like 14 knots.
ОтветитьYOU CAN'T PARK THERE MATE!!!
ОтветитьHaha 40 knots on a Hobie16, impossible
ОтветитьPerfect
ОтветитьHobie 16…? That’s the age restriction I guess…
ОтветитьThis was intentional. Both rudders have a release to do just this. 40 knots is BS
ОтветитьThat idiotic laughter at the end says it all... 🙄
Ответитьpff who needs a centre board
ОтветитьImagine if it continues
ОтветитьThey do that all the time at the Jersey Shore. Granted, our beaches are smooth with soft sand. Coming through the breakers is always fun. Break through them going out and surfing them coming in.
Ответить40 knots? In yer dreams!
ОтветитьAll the people in these comments upset over young men doing what young men do .... testing the limits. I don't see this as abusing the boat or some sort of disrespect, just young men being young men. The boat will be fine. Now they have a story to tell for years, "Hey Bobby, remember when we beached the Hobbie?"
ОтветитьThat’s nothing like 40 knots
ОтветитьThat's never forty knots 😂
Ответить15, max. Not even trapeezing.
ОтветитьKinda hard on da boat….
ОтветитьMy dad used to do this with his Hobie 16 going through the surf and Landing it on the beach. These boats were made for this and it's not a big deal to add a sacrificial layer of fiberglass on the bottom when needed.
Ответить40 knots😂
ОтветитьThat’s how I park mine
ОтветитьAlmost didn't need the trailer afterward. Just jumped up on it's own.
Ответитьyou'd been Pantied
ОтветитьSmooth 😅
Ответить40 knots….
ОтветитьAtleast let go of the sheets so you don’t capsize on fkin land
ОтветитьBeauty of a Hobie. Can be beached as long as it's sandy
Ответить"40 knots"...
ОтветитьHe’s not going 40
ОтветитьThat wasnt a crash that was a beuatiful landing
Ответить
