Love these guys. Dennis Parrot Davis so much characters back in the day, it wasnt just the drama of snooker, the characters of each player made it. Snooker was a bigger live tv event than english league football. Yes world cups and FA Cup Finals were always big audience draws, but Snooker was number 1. Snooker today is higher quality but every event looks the same on tv aprt from the crucible. I cant tell the event im watching as every single venue has the same set up and camera angles, the sponsers names are the main difference. Back in the day, the masters was the masters soon as the cameras went live because of the sponsers and the layout of the arena.

Fantastic to watch - this kind of snooker humor does not exist anymore. So glad I watched it and when it really happened in 1985.
